Music can be bad in many ways, but most of those ways are very subjective. Subjective doesnt mean arbitrary though, and a subjective opinion of a trained listener, who has found enjoyment in music across a range different genres is usually a better indicator of a piece of musics worth, in context.
This piece of music is bad because it is bland and formulaic, it really doesnt have anything to say, it doesnt make me feel anything, its white noise.
If you like it, thats absolutely your subjective opinion. I wont judge if you think a big mac is the peak of culinary art, or if a ford commercial is the peak of filmmaking. But is that your opinion because youve actually experienced a broad range of art within that genre, or because you simply havent had anything better?

I like that he tried a different style on it, but at least do something halfway interesting with it. Trying your hand at a new genre but adding absolutely nothing to it is pointless. The album is very generic, and one song is just an embarrassment he shouldn't have recorded at all

It grew on me a lot. It is pretty generic and kind of half assed but I like how it is kind of lo fi and not overly produced and showy. It has some catchy melodies on most songs that got stuck in my head. Its a comfy album
