Why do so many older rock/metal bands start overdoing choruses past a certain point? I could name dozens of bands that do this.
>10 songs
>75 minute album
>too many choruses
>the chorus is the name of the song
>when you think the song is almost over it just repeats the last 3 minutes
Why does this happen? Do people start liking repetitive choruses more when they get old?

But then why not just stick with 3-5 minute songs then? Why the need to pad it out? They always get bad reviews specifically because of this one thing.
