Anyway who's the last female pop star who wrote her own music aside from Kate? Anne Dudley? Bjork worked With Ray Shulman (a frequent Youth collaborator as is Gilmour) and then Hooper. She wrote fewer of "her" tunes than Bush did across her albums. I like Bjork just fine but most female pop stars don't do their own music.
I didn't realize it's a leftie thing to hate on her though. Makes sense.
