/mu/ seems to have a weird love/hate relationship with this album. Maybe if rymers didn't know about its existence would've become part of the board's favourites, since it's fucking great and the band were the total opposite of industry plants, they were just a couple friends playing around.

These guys are too infatuated with noise soundscapes for my tastes.

There's no way. ITAOTS is low effort slop but you have to admit it's a compelling & immersive listen. Los 7km is just obnoxious noise with a few decent post rock riffs that randomly come and go out of nowhere

Try their other record:

I liked that but it felt like it was missing something without any of the noise and so much less dissonance than 7 KM. I don't know, I guess I'll listen to 7 KM again.

This album is really good until Interrupciones and then it just assaults you with so much noise until the end of it. That's less than half the album but it's an interesting choice.

Only the last minute of Interrupciones and the titletrack are pure noise. Also the last song is probably the album's peak and has a very calm start, the last minute is one of the best music moments ever:

Be careful Anon, shitting on that album might cause /mu/ to seethe.
