I've never liked The Used. I loved some similar bands like Taking Back Sunday, but it never seemed like The Used had very strong songwriting.

Bands like this are pure nostalgia-core at this point, especially the videos. I miss being 12 in 2007. It was a great time to be alive.

The only song I liked on that album last time I listened to it was Early Sunsets Over Monroeville and I was so-so on that. I used to like their first album the most, and I still think Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge and The Black Parade are some of the best the genre has to offer. Their first album is sloppy in a bad way to me though.

MCR IS one of the top 5 best in the emo/post-hardcore genre, their albums are in the top 5 in their respective subgenres, much to your chagrin, thursdayfag. The only album on that chart, that is as good as Revenge/TBP, is Devil and God, with Brand New Eyes + Déjà Entendu being a close second, and DTW + CWTS + TOCS + FUTCT occupying a distant 2nd to 3rd place. (btw, the Beetlejuice soundtrack is about as good as good as Pretty Odd)
