It's legitimately a great song

I love this video though lol

Scott Stapp seemed like a buttrock dork and they were very clearly derivative of Pearl Jam while ridiculously denying it, but they had a great guitarist and some really strong songs. I normally hate post-grunge butt rock, but Creed were really one of the very best at a maligned style. I honestly think their biggest problem was just a PR failure - they acted like they had a Christ complex and pretended to be way more original than they were. Bush never got the hate they did because Bush were smart about praising the grunge bands they were so obviously influenced by. If Creed and Nickelback had just admitted the obvious and praised the grunge bands, they probably would've been way better received, I bet.

Wash Away Those Years is good

Haven't heard this song much since I was very young, and I never knew the lyrics correctly. I always thought it was "I'm six feet from the air that I'm breathing" and it never occurred to me that this doesn't mean anything

creed and nickelback were what I referred to as sweaty music
but now that I'm older, I get it
