After a few months off, /n/'s virtual football team are playing again and for the first time in three years we are in an elite cup after promoting from the 2025 4chn Autumn Babby Cup.

So as we haven't really update the roster much lately we're feeling like it's time for a bit of a refresh to the /n/ team team roster for our first promotion in years. The current line-up is in *pic related* and would be great to hear some suggestions for new players or something we could refresh in the team line-up.

The 2026 4chn Winter Cup kicks off in about two weeks' time with the draw this coming weekend to see who /n/ will play in the group stage, until then let's come up with some new roster ideas.

In the meantime you can see the full team page and info here: https://implyingrigged.info/wiki//n/

If your talking the American version, “football specials” were a big deal at one time, one or multiple trains to big games, either college or pro, mostly dead by the Amtrak era.

Until trolley service ended in New Haven, Yale students had a tradition of piling on open cars to go to home football games.

English ones are really sort of the same in cultural impact but ended up more associated with football hooliganism considering how many 'firms' ended up naming themselves after rail services. Is /n/ the real Inter City Firm or 6:57 firm?

Group stage draw is on Sunday, any suggestions for new players before Saturday's deadline?

Tim Traveller went there.
When the Tram World Championships happened the other year most of the people watching the live stream were his ... followers.
Give him a look.

>“football specials”
Ah yes, the good old 80's 'blood, beer, breaking glass and cheap speed' specials.
Ironically the 'no old bill' standard trains were the most hardcore - your actual 'Service Crews'

Sounds like fun. I was thinking of U.S. football specials in times past which were far more sedate affairs—students and graduates of Ohio State going to Michigan for the Big Game, perhaps some drinking and shouting but no blood or broken glass. Despite the mayhem on the field, American football fans are rather tame, and even the fans with the worst reputation like the Philadelphia pro team are pussies compared to English soccer fans.

I had zero idea what this thread was supposed to be, and I still don't really. But the divegrass game is a good laugh.

most meme ass ending to a match in a long time, choking a 3-0 lead and then getting /toy/'s star player red carded

There is an Amtrak station next to the UNH hockey rink and across the street from the football stadium, so yes.

MBTA brought them back for Gillette Stadium a few years ago.

Knew I'd miss it. This board is too slow to pick up on something that only lasts a half hour before it's too late.

absolutely
