A federal agent shot a person in the leg in Minneapolis on Wednesday after being assaulted during an arrest, the Department of Homeland Security said, sparking further protests in a city on edge after the deadly shooting of Renee Nicole Good by an ICE agent earlier this month.
In a statement on X, Homeland Security said that federal officers were conducting a "targeted" traffic stop in Minneapolis at about 6:50 p.m. local time. The traffic stop involved a Venezuelan national, who the agency claimed was in the United States without authorization.
The person initially fled from federal agents in a vehicle but crashed into a parked car and then took off on foot, according to Homeland Security. An officer attempted to apprehend the person and was assaulted, the agency said.
While they were on the ground struggling, Homeland Security said "two subjects came out of a nearby apartment and also attacked the law enforcement officer with a snow shovel and broom handle."
"Fearing for his life and safety as he was being ambushed by three individuals, the officer fired a defensive shot to defend his life. The initial subject was hit in the leg," Homeland Security said. "All three subjects ran back into the apartment and barricaded themselves inside."

>snow shovel
Oh, buddy, you had better mean one of those old, big, metal ones that are like three feet wide. You are not about to tell me you saw someone coming at you with one of those little plastic pieces of shit and "feared for your life."

>blunt objects can't inflict serious bodily harm or death
>blunt object in question is a fucking plastic snow shovel
Wanna know how I can tell you don't have snow in whatever shithole you're from?
>especially to a victim outnumbered three to one
Oh I'm sure. ICE thugs are well known for traveling alone, especially when making an arrest. You fucking idiot.

It sounds like they saw someone getting fucking jumped by a guy in body armor and jumped in to help.

>Thing is, when the marking start to be regarded as signalling "I'm an evil fascist cunt", they stop becoming the protection they should be.
That's why ICE officers wear vests that say POLICE instead of ICE when they wear markings (even though police departments ask them not to because they aren't actually police and because their shitty behavior makes the reputations of police departments in areas where ICE operates even worse).

I wouldn't blame someone for jumping into a fight antifa is involved in and attacking the member of antifa if the other person was trying to get away.
You should try having principles. It's really not that hard.

There's a million things you people can get angry over with ice, and rightfully so, but this isn't really one of them
shooting someone in the leg is an appropriate response to them assaulting you with a snow shovel...
Maybe you don't live in the snow but they are a pretty large metal shovel and could reasonably be expected to harm someone.
The dude who was shot in the leg didn't die, he didn't even need to go to the hospital, he went in the house and his friends treated his injuries according to the article.

ICE are law enforcement officers with full police arrest powers. What you are misunderstanding is that ICE is supposed to focus on their speciality of Immigration or Customs crimes and not waste time on tangential issues. They're still allowed to arrest anyone for any State or Federal misdemeanor or felony if they observe the crime and are allowed to arrest on suspicion of any felony.
You are confusing their primary focus with their full authority. 8 USC 1357.

Most people are confusing ICE agents with masked conservative rioters because they don't identify themselves and wear cheap shit off the internet that masked conservative rioters wear.
All they have to do is wear a uniform and identify themselves and not try to run around illegally with swapped license plates
But that would make it hard to commit all the crimes they want to commit in our surveillance state

This would actually be hilarious if you people didn't literally believe this bullshit. This is right up there with accusing every BLM rioter of being a boogaloo member in disguise. This is top-tier delusional.

If it had been me, I have done something else.
I like a bit of sport and would have used a longbow w poisoned arrows.
Or a beam weapon that leaves little discomfort when it initially happens but you have a big trail of dead material inside your body that rots slowly

But I can't understand is this. Trump and his cronies are going to be dead in jail or have to flee to a country without extradition eventually. Leaving those ice agents holding the bag. There is no way they can escape from justice. Whether it's from the courts or individuals with a grievance.

It isn't quite the same because you can bet that Biden adhered to the legal principles to do it., not taking shortcuts through it. And definitely didn't take payments property or poorly done novels written about him, like Conrad Black, a noted Canadian homosexual
