Why does Jim Farley still have a job? All he's done as Ford CEO is say how he can't make cars as good as China and lose $20 billion on EVs.

Someone is propping him up.
Or maybe The board wants a fall guy.
His comments on "advanced" China tech is hilarious.
Dude thinks(or knows it isn't) a digital payment is some kind of China exclusive thing.
It's baffling.

Because Bill is a weak king and doesn't like to make decisions because he doesn't want to be the "bad guy".
It's also not impossible that the Ford family (ie majority of Class B voting-stock holders) don't really care about the company anymore as they should be making most of their money from financials at this point.

They do and the chinkmobiles passed. That's not the real issue.
The real issue is that chink business practice is alien to post-sale support. All of these cars will break down eventually and there will be no extensive repair networks, trained technicians to work on the cars and no spare parts readily available. It's not that big of an issue in China itself, because the brands are from there and the chinks are still much more amenable to buying crap as long as it looks shiny and has lots of "tech".

The problem with Chinese vehicles isn't their quality (that doesn't matter so much). It's that by accepting them into your country, you are giving the CCP a MASSIVE attack vector against your infrastructure. Imagine if 20% of the cars in Washington DC were Chinese. China can press a button and shut the city down entirely in the middle of rush-hour. Or start thousands of lithium fires. Whatever they want basically.

it's a smart strat, there's no way america will be able to compete unless it dissolves all unions and replace lazyass workers with those that's more desperate and productive. So rather than:
>why can't you guys compete with china on quality?
>oh it's because..
he's instead making the first move saying "we can't" so no one can complain and argue at the result

ZOG can do this with any modern car though? You seriously don't think they have a backdoor into everything? Something like that's mutually assured destruction, China has nukes they can use so why worry about retarded shit like that

Barely. They've been way too free with giving that that Class B stock to their kids so that now through marriage, etc, there's a significant amount that's in the hands of non-family members. It's close enough that the family has to form alliances to maintain control. It's possibly a condition of an alliance that makes it so that Farley continues as CEO.

So much winning.....
No wonder why Ford is backing off EVs and focusing on Gas cars.

Ford has been making shit vehicles for a long time, the F-150 is probably the biggest piece of shit on the road yet they sell because of the name and "it's the best selling truck or whatever lel"

The Ford family enjoys living off the stock dividends.
