Looks like the parts brands cardone, autolite spark plugs, and the parent group of raybestos and centric are in bankruptcy. I hate autolites but I always have sworn by raybestos and cardone has saved my ass more than once. Bummer

the CEO and his brother were indicted a couple days ago on a bunch of fraud charges. looks like they also milked the company out of billions of dollars. probably has a lot to do with the bankruptcy.

Fuck I just discovered their element3 pads. Guess I'll have to grab a couple sets while I still can.

As you well know, they're jeets.

And you'd almost think Google scrubbed his pics from their results and they give far more results for the menswear supplier despite the First Brands term being used. But nah, they'd never do that.

do not redeem the brake pads!! do not redeem the rotors!!

Damn I used raybestos for my C4 auto clutch packs

Eh. It'll mostly just be a restructuring. Those closed divisions will get bought by someone else if there's anything there.

Having Indian leadership is basically a dead giveaway the company is about to be looted and pilfered of anything good it ever did.

This, there's always gonna need rebuilding of cores, so many Hondas alone need PS pump because the seals are shot, or the starter is making noise or dead, or the alternator is dead.

The outsourced everything.
Then the Tariffs meant their shitty China parts were too expensive to sell.

Good riddance to treacherous outsourcing pieces of garbage

Sucks. But alot of those companies fail bc they don't run lean enough.

Fuck. These companies are the only way to get all kinds of parts for older cars.

I wonder what will happen with them.
