Just bring the old ones to a machine shop. Much cheaper to turn them.

no one turns rotors any more. any shop will charge you more to turn then(after laughing at you) than you would pay for new ones.

My brake rotors were okay, but then I cooked them driving too hard, so I got new ones, then I cooked those driving too hard again, and now I can't afford more

This. For what its worth to actually find a shop that will do this for you, your no farther ahead then just buying packaged (and likely cheaper in the long run) pads+rotor combo

O'Reilly Auto Parts does it for $15/rotor, my local Indy auto parts store used to charge me $5/rotor but it might be more now, I haven't done it in years since I now change my pads before they fuck up the rotors.
Indie parts shop will also press new bearings in hubs, etc. It's nice.

You didn't cook them, you just need to bed in the pads again to get all the old pad material off
