H
I can't fuckin do it br/o/s
I disabled TC and ESC for the first time and tryed to slide at an intersection.
As I was turning i mashed the gas petal and in what felt like an instant I was kind of just sliding left to right. randomly, barely keeping it straight
How the fuck do you even practice this shit? It was over so fast i didnt even remember what happened or how I reacted.
I feel like giving up and trading in my bmw m4cs for a mitsubishi mirage

It's like i completely forgot everything i was preparing in my mind.
I wasnt "feeling" for traction loss and expecting to countersteer to keep it straight
I was just facing the wrong way and turned my wheel the right way, so being reactive instead of proactive just made it all very sloppy

>tfw my car doesn't even have an ABS unit to disable in the first place and people don't believe me when I say I do stunts

the fuck does that have to do with my post dawg

Because driver assists are all built into the ABS module. I'm that anon and I've literally been an engineer in an ABS/TCS/ESP factory, I've programmed units and signed off on BOMs. If you think driving without driver assists is bad then you suck at driving. All it does is hit the brakes if you try to drive hard.

just keep practicing, and whatever you do, ALWAYS make sure there are other people around to see it when you do something cool. other cars also "raise the stakes" and can help you perform better to avoid collision

Thanks for confirming that you've literally never been an engineer in an ABS/TCS/ESP factory, never programmed units or signed off on BOMs.

where i come from, BOM means Byte Order Mark

So?
And that should be what industry I work in, not where you're from

If you live somewhere with winter that goes below freezing then find the nearest icy track, possibly a frozen lake if you have real winter, join an event for beginners and spend some hours driving. First drive with nannies on and find the points where they kill your power, then turn them off and gradually figure out how to negotiate each corner.
You will probably spin a lot, or at least end up sideways. Preferably you do this in a cheap shitbox, as an M4 CS is way too much car for you to handle on ice if you don't even know the basics.

You went through The Stars Trifecta of PAIN and ANGUISH to post this shit?

Funny old world.

You don't actually think he has an M4 CS, do you? If you do, I've got a bridge for sale ...
>>
>>28831487
He probably has in his dreams, but that's not really relevant to the point, which is that he and anyone else should learn in a 140 HP shitbox, which is probably also more car than they can handle.

That fag is retarded, but is an engineer.
We've had discussions before where he got BTFO by the autistic bros here.
Good example of a younger engineer who doesn't know jack shit about what he's designing.
Very common these days.

My friends work for Airbus and Boeing.
Same issues in aerospace.
Engineers don't understand the core concepts of what the are designing.
IQ high enough to get a degree, but not big enough to understand the big picture.

But in my car the ECS is independent from the ABS.

I know full well it only hits brakes on certain corners at millisecond levels to vector the car into a more stable state.
But from a driver's perspective, yes, effectively TC and ESP just brake on you when you try accelerating or turning hard. I like to state things simply, no one reads autist rants.

The only car I'm aware of that actually works like this is the 720s
Most TC/SC systems cut power when they detect slip
>>
>>28831584
I'm still living 20 years ago when cars had throttle cables. When I worked at the ABS plant all of these systems operated independently of the rest of the vehicle and only did brake modulation.
Cutting power sounds even worse from a driver's perspective. I guess average people are running around with 400 lb-ft now so I can see why they'd go that direction when the engine can overpower and cook the brakes.

If you worked for Bendix and were the guy that helped with updating Acom to the new one then I hope you get your balls caught in your zipper. Acom (now legacy) worked flawlessly.

Bosch, I mostly did quality engineering. Tracking and investigating failures. I had a machine room to myself where I'd mill out defective units and photograph failures, that's only a small part of what I did but what I mostly remember, those were some chill days. Sometimes I'd have to spend entire days strapped in to an ESD station reflashing pallets of units, that sucked.

I don't live in winterized areas.

Soccer moms are launching from red lights (just to brake super hard at the next light).

How much are all these retarded family Karens paying for new brakes and tires (on their 6000 pound electcuck SUVs nonetheless) every year?

I don't get it, I swaer the average Ameritard must be getting 10MPG from flooring then max braking constantly, darting into tight gaps to save 0.2 seconds of travel time, then crashing inevitably.

Someone please cleanse the earth of all humanity already

this shit has never happened
you have made up a fake scenario in your head about "the normies" to cope about the fact that you are actually inferior to them because you haven't accomplished anything in your life

On a really cold night I goosed the throttle after a left turn from a stop sign and got a good slide out of the rear that I perfectly countersteered for.
Love the danger ranger.
