That's good, I like handles

Based, traditional cars are much more soulful.
Hope they ban automatic high beams next.

>hating aerodynamism
Ok zhang
>>
my car has chunky real handles, but the kind with little buttons that unlock the doors if you press it with the proximity key on you, and that's a good system

>>28831879
I love my automatic high beams that's a great fucking innovation. I've noticed they don't work as well in big cities with lots of light pollution, then you have to manually dink on and off the brights, but in the country its great not to have to worry about that and my system is actually pretty good about turning them on and off when cars pass in the opposite direction
its nice not having to fiddle with that
>>
It's an unsafe added complexity that can fail and the only reason for this "technological progress" is it makes women feel like they have something special, like an expensive purse.

"Slippery cars" are un-American, real patriots drive blocky heavy chunks of steel that make speed through sheer power.
Gas is so cheap here to do any less is at best Californian and at worst European.

>>28831886
>thank you car, i couldn't tell that i couldn't see!
Wtf is your problem
>>
>>28831874
>Nooooooo you have to let me keep going with the known point of failure that already has a proven death toll! It's innovative!
>>
>innovation

Making things shitty and retarded is not innovation.
>>
>>28832028
It's innovative in the sense that dealerships can charge money to fix them all the time
>>
>>28832044
That's the one.
>>
>>28831886
>its nice not having to fiddle with that
is it really that much of a hassle to flick the headlight stalk back?
>>
>>28831874
is hiding the manual door release under the carpets "innovation" too?
>>
innovation is gay, give me a V8 with 500 horsepower or eat my ass.
>>
Good. This is the weirdest thing and every EV has these stupid over complicated door handles that depend on software to function. I had to buy a Porsche taycan because they're the only EV without these retarded door handles, even the Nissan leaf has them lol. We will look back at this time in a few years the same as when cars had no seat belts. It's crazy that goycattle don't think twice about this, they just put their kids in the back into a car without any door handles.

chinkoid pretending to be an anti chinkoid in the dumbest way to gain support for chinkoids

Door handles don't need innovation you fucking tard, they serve a single defining purpose
>>
>>28832620
Weren't door handles with push buttons banned because it was found that while rolling your car the road could press the button for you.
>>
>>28831874
>retarded retracting door handles
>innovation
First of all, no. That idea dates back to the 60s. It's not innovative in the slightest. Second of all, it's retarded.

Kek
I'm a bongoloid and I like watching the old V8 behemoths get revived on those "Will it run and drive" shows. Such cool looking machines. The classics from here had some tragic wheezy little 1300cc...it just doesn't feel the same.

To be fair a 2 door car is the same. They always seemed unsafe to me, but no one else seems to care.

I bought a 1968 F100 from auction (my winning bid was $825, with auction house fees it was $1,420 total).
Towed it home.
Carb was pissing fuel so I ran to the parts store for a rebuild kit. 40 bucks and 30 minutes later I was driving a vintage Big Block around the neighborhood.

I didn't even know the truck was in the auction.

that's hella cool

The flush handle thing has been around since the 80's, it's not hard, you don't need a billion sensors and electric motors and fragile plastic interlocks, you just need a metal bar with a cutout below it, good god.
>>
>>28831886
why the fuck are you using your high beams in a well lit city?
if you're that blind you shouldn't be driving
>>
>>28831886
>automatic high beams
trash and you should feel bad for using it
>>
>>28831874
Based.
Thevworld needs more Morris Marina door handles instead.

C3 Vette or go home.

Without hidden door handles how can car manufacturers reinforce their intellectual property rights? If some freeloading welfare queen wants luxury doors that open and close, she needs to pay her premium door subscription like everyone else. Otherwise she can climb out the window until she finds a job. More motivation to work harder. Simple.
