Do you like exploring caves? What sort of caves have you been in?

My parents did spelunking in college and I've heard enough stories about bottomless pits and ceilings so low to the ground that you have to exhale to progress forward that I am uninterested in serious caving. I've been to Mammoth Cave, however, and it was great.
There's one fairly large room we stopped at on the tour in which they turned the lights out and let us experience total darkness for a minute.
I visited MC like 25 years ago and I still have dreams about that room. One side of it sloped downwards and away and became lost in darkness but you could hear an underground river flowing from it. Very neat. Left an impression.

Yeah there are some seriously epic mines in the UK, and likely also a small cache of uncharted ones yet to be discovered.
North Wales slate is absolutely insane if you like big chambers and ruins.
We did a trip in Wales whereby we had to abseil into a canoe and punt it across a big underground lake. Was pretty hardcore.
Been down some cool lead mines in the midlands too (picrel)

I like to visit caves but if the cave has cool speleothems then it's either too hard core for me to access or you have to be on a guided tour which is kind of lame, except Carlsbad, love Carlsbad. And if there aren't cool speleothems then I don't care as much, lava tubes and talus caves are just ok. Don't care for mines.
When I read in National Geographic about some cave exploration with crazy formations that no human has ever laid eyes on I get jealous and suddenly want to really get into caving, it's like the ultimate last frontier that's still somewhat accessible if you put in the work for it. But I'm a lazy faggot so it's just another on the list of things I'll never actually do.

All our caves are flooded but they’re pretty fun to dive in. Florida is great for aquatic spelunking
