I got an RAB Neutrino Pro on sale last summer, it's extremely packable and warm. Only needed it once so far but there's plenty of winter left. If I didn't need a big safety parka for shtf situations I'd probably get a Mountain Hardwear Ghost Whisperer or something.

I have that same orange decathlon one, it's good for the 3-season here in appalachia.
9/10 for the money. Everything can always be warmer/lighter but it does what it says on the tin for cheap.

I have an Outdoor Research that I bought on clearance a year and a half ago. It’s quite good, I bought it to use for layering on fall /out/ trips, but it’s warm enough that it and a canvas shirt jack has been my winter go-to even when it’s in the mid 20s below zero.
