Guys, I think my dad will kick me out soon.
Can I realistically survive in Winter?
I live in a wet part of Europe in a city in the plains, but the mountains are close and that's where my heart lies and will head there, since I want to be far and cut all safety nets and bonds to them, not because I hate them, but because I love them and don't want to hurt them no more.
I have little funds and thus not enough money to use a car, I have a bike, but it seems unwieldy in the forests especially now when there is probably snow and if not snow a lot of mud.
Can one survive with only a backpack until spring, I don't know where if I would lay camp, we have some land in the mountains, but that would probably lead me back to them.
But a backpack seems too little space, I would need a tent, some pots and tools, clothes, books, a sleeping bag and a couple kg of flour, I'd eat fish for meat and also I will need my laptop, although I wouldn't have electricity and it would probably get wet.
I have this image of Sam's backpack from Lord of the Rings.
Books and clothes seem like they wouldn't fit, I'd also have to somehow cycle trough the books at home or borrow from libraries in the mountain cities. I also am tempted to take one of my telescopes, but it definitely won't have space because of the mount and tripod.
Books and telescopes are desires and I'll have to settle for libraries, e-reader and laptops, but clothes seem essential for a long winter trip.
Farm and shepherd dogs will also be a likely problem.
My hopes are that the wild will toughen me up.
What do you guys recommend?

Dang man, this remembers me of a dream I had, I was done living with my family so I just gone to the woods and lived inside a whole on the side of a hill, Minecraft Style.
Idk how legal stuff works in your country, but if you lived in that house for some time they can't just legally kick you out.
If my family kicked me out I would never speak to them, sometimes I got drunk and just "Run away" in the middle of the night, and woke up on my GF house lol

It's not about that, I'd be able to talk my way out in 5 minutes, it's just that I can't take it anymore, being a burden and all.
I could maybe go to our Grandparents' home in the countryside, but it would be like enjoying a vacation while everyone else works.
Trying to get back up on my own feels like the only right path.

I recommend you get a part time job and contribute at some symbolic level to the household and you probably won't get thrown out, a soft knobgoblin like yourself will get rolled by the diversity of all your LARP gear within the first few days.
wait didn't you already post this a month ago?

a part time job won't cut it
i come from a family of doctors, engineers and uni professors, all my grandparents and male great grandparents went to university
my brain is fried by the internet and i just can't learn anymore and all the exams will be over in 2 weeks
getting a part time job would just make them resent me more and will make fun of me and will ask me if i want this to be my whole life and will probably make me resign after 2 weeks and go back to school because they d probably talk to the teachers to pass me anyway
you probably don't live with this kind of people
they are all super driven and don't know what laziness is, my family is also not rich rich to be able to just allow me to do nothing
they are all like fucking unstoppable steel locomotives who can't brake and are just brute forcing trough all of life's problems as if they don't exist, all of them parents, sisters, uncles, aunts, cousins, grandparents
no, that wasnt me, i didnt make any threads for moths here

Regardless of your family, figure out what you want to do with your life rather than being homeless by default. There are short studies (2-3 years) that prepare you for a job without being as gay as college classes
And the internet sucks what's with the AI and whatnot. There comes a point where I'm happy to have a job sometimes because I've seen every movie, played every game, fapped to every porn and there's nothing to do at home but doomscroll through youtube. Humans need exercice, sunlight and social relationships to live a healthy life
