If I watch this show will it give me powers to have a cute korean girl following me around when I head to Seoul while doing street photography?

Ah yes playing a dumb game. Cool. Yeah I do think this photography can be right in the right circumstances. Why the fuck call it porn though?

Do you know how words work? They have this shit called a meaning, and then when you have a need for a place in a sentence to convey that meaning you use the word. Then as you find overlaps in meanings and words you can start to use them creatively for play and wit. Like children play and wit are key aspects of intellectual stimulation and growth. It’s an amazing innovation in thought and cognitive development that sadly seems to have left you behind.

There is some truth to this.
I live in a city which is a major tourist attraction.
Japanese tourists come here and literally take photographs of the manhole covers.
They take photographs of the side alleys full of shit and homeless people.
The city is often called one of the most beautiful and historic in the world, but because I live here, to me its just home.
I see all of the negative shit that they don't realise. I see the lack of progress. I see the lack of expansion or opportunity. I see the sad locals, putting on a fake smile for tourists just to make enough money to barely survive.
I see it and I realise that part of the problem isnt the city. Its me. I see all of this sadness and I don't leave. I stay. And that is a failure on my behalf. The city isnt going to change. I need to find someone from another city. Who feels the same. And leave with them.

Interesting, Paris. I didn't think of that place.
>And leave...
Ok. So we know OP is brown. But what country is it from?
>Japanese tourists...
I was thinking somewhere in Asia since most JP tend to travel in Asian countries due to familiarity.
>alleys full of shit...
India?
>homeless people...
South Korea maybe. And Japanese like to visit that dreary country to see how far from grace their old colony has fallen.
>most beautiful and historic in the world...
Ok. So India is out. Maybe Singapore?

Err. Depends. If that's supposed to be a print she has then yes. That would be an enlarged exposure which as long as it's already fixed is accurate BUT we don't see anything other than a piece of whatever. It could also be a piece of sheet film that's been fixed and she's inspecting, but if the movie is about a leica that's shooting 35mm then it's definitely a print.
Now the fucky thing is, I've seen plenty of media portray film dev in a darkroom and they fuck it up by leaving that red light on OR not using a changing bag; unfixed film is FUCKED even when exposed to that red light (and any light). If for instance the clip here is supposed to be the "development" step of dev then it's inaccurate because the film would be cooked.
Developing 35mm film takes about 30m-1h of active involvement (spooling, dev, stop bath, fixing, drying, hanging) and then about 24h until it's ready and dry to be either enlarged or digitized. I'm actually not sure if sheet film takes longer.
tl;dr: unsure, need to see longer scene. Probably accurate if showing the end result of an enlarged print.

That fucking bitch ass don't even try to level the camera

Fairly accurate depiction of printing. She'd have to look a bit closer to get it in focus, and probably use a focusing aid. And typically you'd do a test strip to get the exposure right, but they could've edited that out.

It's surely printing, you don't use an enlarger for film development.
For older period pieces having the safelight on for film developing could be accurate, ortho film used to be common which is not affected by red light. Anything recent you are right you need absolute darkness.

Tri-x is panchromatic and would need to be developed in total darkness.
But that clip doesn't show developing the film, that would have all been done beforehand. It starts with her loading the developed, cut and dried film into the enlarger.

>the fixer has acid in it, if it gets on your skin it'll burn right through
>proceeds to stick his hands right in it
lmao
I never heard of burns from fixer, stop is the acidic one but it's just vinegar.
That's an interesting film tank/loader. I've never seen one like that but it's probably legit. Not sure why they're doing it all under safelight while it's in the tank.

One or two % of acetic acid is enough if you do not reuse stop. So 2 parts of 5-10% white vinegar and 8 parts of water. Less water if you save the stop for next time. Few % citric acid also works, and does not stink like vinegar. About 30g / liter or oz per quart or whatever. Molds can grow in dilute citric acid so better not store it...
