(It's my first post on 4chan, let me know if I do something bad)
Have you heard of a legend about 1000 of paper cranes? People say if you make 1000 of them, your wish can get granted. So, for the sake of my wish I decided to try. I have over 100 cranes, but I rarely have time to make more, so I'm trying. Have a nice night, byeee!

I like folding cranes too, I actually prob have ~600 of them in a big container for display, but honestly I think you'd get a lot more out of the hobby if you looked around some website like origami-club and played around with folding different basic models. It depends on if you have any deeper interest or simply just enjoy folding birds

Thank you. I got some earrings similar to this, so I’m actually folding 998. The other two are going to “fly up” to her ears, my wish

I did it, I finished 1000. I wrote my wish on the other side. Took 17 days to fold them all. Not sure how to display or present them because they’re all just on a big paper bag. I’ll let you guys know what happens!

It's pretty much the only thing I can do without reference. I fold and leave them about places. My third one is still my favourite, a little purple flower print thing that looks somehow jaunty. They're always slightly uneven though. I hate that.

I've started drinking more Twinnings tea which came individually wrapped in foil, which I consider super wasteful, I prefer the Europan fruit teas which comes in cardboard boxes of bulk tea bags but it's hard to fine. I'm very pleased to discover that the foil wrappers are good for making silver paper cranes, and it looks kind neat too the other way around, I like having the foil on the outside as it's fruity scented naturally. I think when I drink the new box of Irish Breakfast Tea or Mint which have green packaging, I'll use it to make a grasshopper. Or a mini box for an even tinier grasshopper or crane . oat, Or paper boat, I remember folding these as a kid but I forgot how.
