I saw this stop motion animation on YT the other day. Any information you guys have about stop motion or anything related to it would be kind of useful. So I thought I'd start a general discussion here. Share my first attempt at trying to make a stop motion animation

Okay, so I've never tried stop motion before, and I've never done anything with animation either, so I thought I would try something simple. When I've done it, I'll probably upload it to YouTube, but I'll keep you guys updated here.

I'm just going to try to keep it very simple, just some cut out fish swimming.

I'll probably end up doing something a little bit more complicated when I've finished this if it all goes well.

Okay, so here it is. It's kind of crappy, but I'm going to try to do something a bit more complicated tomorrow.

I messed about with some more stop motion this evening. Tomorrow I'm thinking about trying to make a simple walking animation and see how far I can get with that.

Stop motion takes a lot of time and effort but it's pretty fun.
This channel has some impressive use of the stuff.
