we are back at the beginning. everyone knows wrestling is fake, nobody cares about matches unless they care about the wrestlers. the funny face guys with 3 moves get over, they will feud with the generic shitter that can carry them thru 3 commercial breaks and probably win, because matches don't matter.
i want 'this guy i hate' to lose to 'this guy i like' matters. the 3 move, great promo guys you hate can get the 100 moves shitter you like over.
tama got over with 2 moves & will put over some workrate shitter, same with green guy..
the *great match' bullshit has never worked, its always been the 'tv' stuff. rvd vs jerry lynn, rvd was amazing & could act like a stoner asshole. great matches, did nothing for jerry. hbk vs bret, lost to wcw because it was workrate shitters claiming to be the best shitter.
there hasn't been a 'i'm a better wrestler' feud that worked since television was created. midcard time fillers are important, you can't feature them without the 'funny face guys' that make people tune in.
