Never been to jail. Should've caught me in the army when I smoked weed, hash, and did MDMA with girl friends. Somehow I avoided jail cause I was in a key position and irreplaceable, so the MPs skipped me. Though it was an open secret I was getting high and the MP academy building was next to my office where I got high every week.

My friend ordered weed from the darknet and got caught in the army. He went to baby's first prison and we talked every week about drugs on the phone where they record and listen to the calls; he was dishonorably discharged after 3 months and I was honorably discharged after some time of being a pofessional solider. If he was caught as a civ, he would've served up to 20 years in real prison. Military law is liberal about drugs in relation so he got lucky.

It was very easy to conduct legal trials in front of my personal Disciplinary Officer and one of the 3 people who were above me without a military judge present. Most soliders have 10 or more people above them.

I fucked the Disciplinery Officer so she was on my side, and I was one of the 2-3 people who knew how to code software in the base and was in charge of an essential software that everyone used so they couldn't do anything.

Both the Disciplinary Officer's office and the Base Commander's office were literally next to mine and I saw a ton of people go on trial; I talked to them in the smoking area where they waited. It was very easy to go to jail in my base and they ran a tight ship.

I was in meetings where everyone was some rank of officer and I was a first sgt. Lowest rank in the room. I was in charge of the food rations and vegan meals for vegan soliders. I was the highest ranking solider in my base at weekends and holidays. Basically, I was Base Commander, or the closest thing to a Base Commander.

I was trusted with a lot of things that sometimes were over my head, but I'd do them perfectly.

I scheduled an appointment with a female neurologist and told her that I had 3 seizures with bupropion. She ordered a CT scan and an electroencephalogram. I had the tests done, and she prescribed 500mg of sodium divalproate to prevent seizures. I read the drug's leaflet and saw that it can destroy my liver (which is my favorite organ), can cause pancreatitis, vision problems, and can also cause seizures instead of preventing them.
I'm afraid to use sodium divalproate. I asked the neurologist how long I would need to use the medication, but she said she doesn't know. I will schedule another appointment with her if I feel that the medication is harming me. One strange thing is that the medication can cause drowsiness and insomnia at the same time. She recommended that I take 1 tablet at night.

Any anons ITT who have experience with opioids and oxy specifically? How addictive is it, psychologically speaking?
I can get some real pharma oxy now but I am a complete virgin to any opioids and I am afraid of it potentially triggering some "switch" in my mind that will make me crave it for the rest of my life (something I've heard from opioid addict stories).
I don't have an addictive personality, recently I quit daily nicotine pouch usage cold turkey just because I got bored of them (no actual intention to quit, I had just finished the last tin and didn't buy any more) and had no cravings whatsoever, however I do smoke weed every day multiple times a day and intend to never quit, but that's a conscious choice I had made before starting daily usage and isn't a result of addiction.
Overall I'm into healthy lifestyle and right now I'm at the peak physical condition of my life. So would getting a few pills and spacing them out with at least 1 week intervals worth it or will I end up fucking up my mind and craving it forever? How psychologically addictive is it compared to coke for example?

the problem with opioids is that they always make you feel better. nothing else so reliably makes you feel better in basically any circumstance. nothing. this reality will mess with you a bit--every other drug has conditions where you can make yourself feel horrible, but opioids lend themselves to you just taking more and more without any consequences until the dependence itself creates all the consequences.

ironically, the withdrawal is psychologically devastating and intensely painful, but you'll be totally fine after just a few days. however, it's weirdly difficult to just convince yourself to go through it once you're addicted. then when i was no longer addicted after going cold-turkey i didn't care much about opiates anymore and just wanted to do other drugs without having to think about the opioid mind-game.

It has overcrowded the prison systen with people who have no violent crimes mixing with dangerous people who do commit violence. This in turn makes them violent because they have to be. Then it becomes their second nature, making it even worse.

I just don't understand people. The research is there. Most people who are taught using that approach very rarely use drugs and if they do, it's in a safe environment. But, like you said: the prison complex needs their inmates.
