>wolverine feels the pain of his claws tearing through his skin every time he extends them, the wounds just heal back up
Thats pretty metal, i wish they portrayed the shit like this more, maybe make him wince or give a grunt every time he extends them. They always make him a bullet sponge blindly charging forward, but he still feels all the pain of every wound like a normal person he just heals back from almost anything in a near instant. Hes also like 250 years old or whatever

It's implied at some point he adapts like the body usually does so he stops feeling anything

think its just him being used to it, ik in logan they show how he has to physically pull them out once he's older though which is interesting

Marvel will never be as metal as it used to be thanks to the Disney buyout. I still remember having nightmares of the 2008 Hulk chasing me around the city. Good times.

I think what OP's talking about is that scene in the 2000 X-Men movie where Rogue asks Wolverine if the claws hurt when they come out and he answers "every time."

He would get used to such pain after experiencing it thousands of times. But this is a pretty cool thread for /r9k/ and far more interesting than the typical shit we see on here. If only Marvel wasn't incredibly gay faggot shit owned by the Mouse though.

So he's like Blade, but white? ^^
