So I actually found a legit good girl, like the kind people say don't exist anymore. Virgin, loyal, not attention hungry, and honestly beautiful. She actually likes me too, I'm not some model but she calls me handsome and all that. At first it felt unreal, like I finally beat the game or something. But the deeper I got into it, the more I noticed how much I'm bleeding money just existing in this relationship. Dates, food, little gifts, helping her with stuff, gas money, random crap she wants to do. Even when she says she doesn't care about expensive things, somehow I end up spending anyway.
It's not like she's using me, she's sweet, genuine, and I can tell she actually cares. But no matter how pure it seems, the whole thing just costs. Like, I'm spending at least 30% of my income because of her, easy. And it's not even her fault, it's just how relationships work. The guy always ends up paying, directly or indirectly. You start dressing better, eating out more, driving more, doing more, all for her. Makes you realize that even if the girl really does like you, money's still part of the equation. At the end of the day, we're all some level of betabux. Just depends how much you're willing to pay for the illusion of love.

Hey so it looks like you haven't had anyone and step in and say this, but "I don't care about your material wealth I just want wuuuuv" is a classic move by vampire foids when they find a lonely male and wow, she hit the jackpot with you.
The unreal feeling is the part of your brain that isn't ruled by your cock, telling you that there's something wrong here.
t. been there, ignored that feeling, regretted ignoring it

You should watch this video for a rundown on how they find their targets, there's a technique to getting you to feel like a knight in shining armor who is giving her money out of love, because she knows how the male brain works and she knows you wouldn't be into escorts or quid pro quo.

And yes, there are women out there who want a real relationship but the catch is that you won't feel like you won the jackpot, the uncanny valley "is this real" feelings aren't there. And it's going to take work on both of your parts, to make it actually work.
There is a reason dating outside your socioeconomic bracket is and always has been somewhat frowned upon, it's hard enough when there's sincere love but a lot of the time, there isn't.

No shit thats why I literally never did anything with them. I could see the cost a really long time ago, like a physical numerical number above their heads. Also the number of girls I spent money on to give them gifts and never got anything in return is pretty wild.

How does that apply to me? She was a virgin, we have sex, she gets me gifts sometimes too. I am not a target lol, there are way richer men she could get.

You literally opened the post saying something felt unreal about it. Not "wow I felt lucky" or "wow I'm so glad she's my gf" but "unreal"
I know I won't get through to you, not with one post, but you know there's something here that you're willfully trying to ignore.

I don't want anyone to "be" anything, I just want to call out that you're inadvertently sharing more information about your state of mind than perhaps you intended. It's a tale as old as time. Just try not to be too hard on yourself when you finally figure it out.

Good for you anon. I'm usually a bitter incel in that kind of thread (Been cheated on in the past) but in your case I recommend you invest in the girl.
Make the birth rates a little higher, it will benefit us in the future.

I think you're confusing the concept of betabuxx with the concept of a normal healthy guy taking care of the woman he is in a relationship with. She's not fleecing you, women are just expensive and yeah you need money to date them. She can be non-materialistic but life for women costs serious money.

Also I think it'd be a huge waste to let this woman go. But don't keep her if you don't want to make things happen. This is like one of those kinds of women r9k would be glad to bend over backwards for. She likes you and hasn't had a serious boyfriend? Lucky mf

Duh dude, men provider and women nurture. This doesnt mean you need to spend more money than youre comfortable with. Set some boundaries. Tell her youre saving for something. See how she reacts then youll know if youre making a good investment or not, theres nothing wrong with treating the potential mother of your children with gifts.
