Waking up half way through the night with only like 3 or 4 hours sleep and just unable to fall back asleep...it doesn't get worse than that. Very cringe.

Not OP but it's actually concerning if you cannot stay asleep for longer than 3-4 hours at a time regardless of whether it's during day or night, and you know that it's not enough for your body and you wake up feeling tired and groggy. Imagine every time you sleep, regardless of how sleepy or tired you were going to bed, you cannot sleep for longer than that 3-4 hour mark. It will lead to chronic sleep deprivation. Speaking from experience.

Yeah I know I hate it. Whenever I try working out, even if it's nothing like overly strenuous, I can't recover from it for like a good 4-5 days. Wanna get into a regular workout schedule but it's probably not gonna be possible with my sleep being this messed up.

Sleep pro here.
If it happens, you must absolutely avoid looking at your phone or anything like that. Don't even check the time.
If you do that and you still don't feel like sleeping for a long time, get up and start your day early.
The worst thing you can do about bad sleep nights is stress about them. Simply take them in stride, and practice good sleep hygiene (no screens in bed). You can function with less sleep on some nights, you just need to get sufficient sleep on average over a week.

Anxiety and depression can fuck with your sleep bigly. Also, completely remove caffeine, even if you think it is just a little bit, even if it is just a morning coffee. Just stop.

Faggot retards really be reading some outdated reddit thread on sleep by an equally retarded fuckwad and thinking they're a 'sleep pro' lmao

Sounds right, I almost never drink coffee but I had 1 cup today because we have a new fancy coffee machine at work, after an hour our manager started throwing an anger fit for no reason, it spiked my anxiety so hard I was still feeling it when I was going home so I got myself a 6-pack of beer to calm down.

The one I am on isn't even addictive and increases REM sleep.
Way better to take a low dose drug every day than to go without sleep.
Sleep deprivation is by far one of the absolute worst things you can do to your body in the long run.
You know it, too, otherwise you wouldn't be so stressed about sleep
