Looks like the type of thing where someone just computed some Fourier series, Laurent series, or some other variant, and just plugged in [math] \pi [/math]. In other words, he was probably just a hack who spammed formulas to deceive people into thinking he was smart. An excellent strategy for harvesting Izzat. But it's unbecoming for a mathematician.
