Feel about the increasing amount of pressure being put on the theory? Controlling for ancestry shows that latitude only results in introversion, not intelligence, and ancient genomes(see picrel) show that euroid hunter-gatherers were likely just a smidge smarter than african hunter-gatherers, while east asian hunter-gatherers were simultaneously nearing contemporary world-average intelligence and related traits.

If you ask me, IQ differences among humans seem most due to genetic bottlenecks and self-domestication.

exposure to carcinogens is definitely a contributing factor that gets overlooked. from lead to petrol to plastics. malnutrition, nutrition while pregnant, drug and alcohol use. and early education in the home. in the like goo goo gah gah phase.
