They did. The NCAA was always retreating on compensating players. In 2015 they raised the limit to full cost of attendance (including housing, food, clothes, etc. ) plus $5000. YSU QB Beau Brungard has won the Walter Payton award as the most outstanding offensive player in FCS.

The Penguins made it to the FCS playoffs before losing a close game to Yale. The team scored 30+ points in 10 of 13 games, but went 8-5 because of wretched defensive play.

Of course. I would think it largely being mental makes it more possible to do younger than older. The reason DTs are never good as freshmen is because they need time to develop the physical strength.

I dont know boys. Gary Patterson has been an incredible defensive coach and everything but after watching his press conference he seemed pretty old and chill. Did we goof up again?
