Which league is the best in the world?

Hard to deny that the Premier League is the most competitive/the strongest and overall the most balanced (at the top, regarding the title race) and therefore the best product
It’s not perfect, but it feels disingenuous to deny that is has the upper hand overall. It has a higher quality than the Bundesliga and an actual title race, for example

Champions League still is the best. Highest quality of football and basically each year a different club wins it. Man City won 6 of the last 8 Premier League titles, Liverpool the other 2. Plenty of leagues have more clubs that go on to win a title.
If quality of play doesn't matter as much then the most prestigious and meaningful comp is the World Cup. The whole world watches, ultimate prize.
>>
>>153213941
I know the truth.

premier is by far the most prestigious, you know you watch strong teams, the league is kinda boring, few different winners, we know it's either city or a meme team but that happens rarely

la liga is horrible to watch from an entertaining point of view. it's only about barca vs real. too few interesting players to watch, and real and barca are in a dump in europe to regale yourself by potentially watching the best teams in the world.

serie a is the most entertaining in terms of suspense right now, who's gonna win? impossible to know, the top 6 is very balanced, great clubs but the level is low

bundesliga has no point with bayern almost always winning the league with ease but the football there is the most entertaining, this is a spectacle, you can't get bored watching a bundes game.

ligue 1 is just about psg, there is always a meme team that is suddenly good for one season but they sell their players to other leagues and it's back to square one with only psg, sometimes psg slips but it's rare.

That's a good thing retards. The 2024 LA Galaxy went from last place to league champions the following season. It gives every team in the league a new chance to win the Cup and makes it a very competitive league. The same teams winning the league every year is fucking boring. This past decade in MLS we had:
2025 Inter Miami
2024 LA Galaxy
2023 Columbus Crew
2022 LAFC
2021 NYCFC
2020 Columbus Crew
2019 Seattle Sounders
2018 Atlanta United
2017 Seattle Sounders
2016 Toronto FC
So 8 different champions in 10 years. Meanwhile in EPLol there have only been 2
>>
>>153222125
ah yes lets build in a system that punishes poor performance so badly that it creates like 2-6 teams per league that can contend and have large fanbases and makes everyone else be washington generals tier as yoyo clubs.

You can argue about Bundesliga vs. Serie A vs. Primera Division forever, you cannot reach a consensus. They are basically even in overall quality, they all have some redeeming features and some glaring weaknesses. I think the Bundesliga has the most potential and delivers on average the most entertaining games, but it is weighed down by the fact that it has virtually no title race. Ever. If it did have a genuine rival to Bayern (and no, Dortmund is not enough, they are retarded as fuck), it would be the second-best league. The way it is, it probably is the league you're least likely to watch as a third party, because the title race is important to outsiders
It is (unfortunately) completely delusional to argue against the Premier League being the strongest league overall. It's not as dominant as their financial superiority implies, but it has the most overall quality, numerous top clubs, the games are usually fun to watch ... it is the best product. It is a bit of sellout league and often feels soulless to me, but it works as far as the business and metrics show. And it won't change anytime soon. If anything, the gap will grow wider
>>
Sports/leagues without salary caps may as well be watching Harlem Globetrotters vs Washington Generals
>>
Serie A is completely fraudulent sus league
Ligue 1 is barely even a league
I like Bundes and La Liga even though their level is well below the prem
>>

Yes. None of that EFL noncery though.
>>
>>153235375
I know you're a bald, fat, alcoholic too stupid to understand how things are done in a real country, but MLS doesn't have a balanced schedule hence why they have a playoff. They only play 34 matches. If they were to have a balanced schedule they'd have 58 matches. The champions league, world cup and other leagues around the world have playoffs as well for imbalance schedules. You would know all this if you weren't a retard
>>
>>153242379

League? lol Not even debatable
>>
>>153235375
That’s the main difference. In our sports the winner is decided in a post season tournament. There’s always going to be more randomness
>>
>>153246288
Also there’s a salary cap meaning there’s an upper limit to what a team can spend. They do this to artificially deflate wages because everything in America is designed to extract wealth from workers but a side effect of it is more parity in the leagues

The more "elite" a league is, the more other drawbacks there are
I used to fear and despise the 2nd Bundesliga, it was a big boogeyman for my club. But then I learned to appreciate it. In many ways, it is the better league for people who just want to watch neat football with some tension ... which is just a sign that the top leagues are often grim
>>153249945
Please elaborate
>>
>>153249069
Imagine being retarded enough to post this, not realizing countries have a different number of teams in the UCL, making it easy for the country with the most teams to score the most points.

>>
>>153250060
Why are there a different number of teams for each league? Oh yeah, the better you are the more places you're afforded. Put a pin in that coincidence for now.

See your logic is actually flawed regardless because you could have 10 sides from Uber Eats, 10 from Belgium, and only 5 from the PL and I guarantee the top 5 places would be taken by PL teams.
This is what you little JFs never understand. When you point to other little scruffy leagues like Spain or Italy or France as being elite, you're pointing at a handful of sides. The brag about La Liga dominance in the CL is woefully misplaced. A record 20 titles...shared by an entire two teams.
This is why the PL is and always will be the best league. You even proved it yourself the other night when you refballed Newcastle at home, same way you did in the same fixture a couple of years ago. Because even the free spending PSG with their owner who is the chairman of the ECA, playing in their dogshit league with zero competition, they need all of the help they can when they come up against an English side. Even if it is one that's midtable.
But regale us with more tales about Sochaux doing the quad next year.
>>
>>153250002
The competition is fierce compared to the RSL. I liked the Competition format.

I'll take MLS all day over going to games with Yuropoors and South American "humans". At least you know you aren't going to deal with no life losers who take that shit away too serious and forget they're nothing more than customers
