Is it false flags posts then?
Because whenever I see a bad game from Bruno, the usual comments like "We should've sold Bruno. It's time for Bruno to go." comments start popping up in social media.

Manchester United have spent almost 1 billion on their current squad. He's not surrounded by a bunch of shitters, he has underperformed along with the rest of his teammates.

This "second wind" happens everytime United changes the manager, and then things get miserable again.

Lammens is pretty average, he just looks amazing after Onana. Of course this may just be his settling in period and he'll be another De Gea by next season, but the jury is still out on that. People are sleeping on Sesko though, the kid has scored 4 in his last 4 appearances, just keeps getting overlooked because until last night he hadn't scored a winning goal and there seems to be a weird media narrative of either putting him down or ignoring him.

02/02/26(Mon)20:49:05 No.153249517 Whenever I watch Man Utd it always seems to be Bruno and Maguire saving shit, with Maguire sometimes causing as much damage as he saves.
His only problem is he looks weakmind

02/02/26(Mon)20:49:20 No.153249519 >>153249501
I disagree. Lammens looks very solid for such a young keeper. He hasn't made a single error leading to a goal. Every goal he has conceded has been down to a worldie or backline failure.
I don't like people downplaying his ability because you can tell he's got something about him.

02/02/26(Mon)21:06:45 No.153249657 >>153249519
For sure, he is very solid and he has good instincts - even when he lets one in that he should have saved, he at least dives the right way, and he makes very few blunders. He just hasn't been all that great statistically compared to other prem keepers. Utd have the 3rd most goals scored this season but they're also conceding far too many, which Lammens obviously isn't entirely at fault for, but he's not a world class keeper yet - he just hopefully has the potential to become one.

I have nothing but respect for this man. He would have won a Ballon d'Or already if he wasn't set on spending his entire career at United even though they keep trying to sell him to the Arabs. And he's not even a local Englishman.
Terrible captain, though. Just doesn't seem to have the right personality for it.

Useful stat but only to explain why Bruno is a tactical liability and a title winning team can't be built around him
Solid player, great technique but he only works with 3 wingers in front of him
That's why he disappears with Portugal. Because in international football you need some sort of order and tempo he doesn't have

I'll agree that he doesn't really have the solidity or temperament for a captain, but it's the only thing you're right about. He's a wildcard that's needed on the pitch for his creativity, which always outshines his errors when it counts. I don't know who else could be considered for the captaincy in that team. Maguire has already been tried and it didn't work, Mount could maybe do it, but he's constantly injured while Bruno is a freak of nature who'd recover from decapitation in a few weeks.
