The Rooney Rule discourse is always so polluted. Everyone "mad" about it's argument breaks down when examined every time.

Mention that the population of black americans is about 12%, so 3 out of the 32 is pretty much exactly what it should be.

Is it because black people have natural athletic advantages, making them run faster and jump higher, among other things? If you accept the premise that black people are better physical athletes, then you are admitting black people and white people have different strengths and weaknesses, then it makes sense that they may have a higher percentage of players but not of coaches. Otherwise, should we protest there aren't more white corners and receivers? That's RACIST and CHUDDY, though, right?

Remember, it's only okay to point out how black people are better, that's the only difference you are allowed to mention.

In order to ask "are there enough black coaches?", you need to quantify how much is "enough". Is it based on the population of the country? Because 4/32 is 1/8, which is about 13%, but I don't think any of the people complaining would be satisfied with them sitting at 3-5 coaches in perpetuity.
So is it based on the number of players? The league's what, 65, 70% black or so? Do they demand that at least about 20 of the coaches are black? But then again, some of the greatest coaches ever never played, and there's no indication that being a player will make your odds of being a good coach higher.
The issue is that it's all based on 'feeling'. It doesn't 'feel' like there's enough, but no one will tell you what is 'enough'.

I just think that having miraculous comebacks is just simply unsustainable, and the skills and development needed to be good in the other 50 minutes of the game isn't "easy to learn". A lot of it revolves around teams just crumbling. The Rams should have never allowed that play, all credit for the throw itself. The Packers giving up such an enormous lead is inexcusable.
A lot of their comeback and close wins come against bad teams too. I think Caleb should be better next season, but I think it's insane to just expect him to clean up 75% of his game like it's no big deal. On top of it they're playing a 1st place schedule, the AFCE, the NFCS, and the Jags. The NFCS will still be relatively bad, the Jets are the Jets, and the dolphins are bad, but other than that they got their rough division, the Seahawks, Eagles (who are ok), Bills, and Patriots.
