The pundits in the studio are cooking the chelsea manager right now. They're mocking the interview he just gave. Its funny how Paul merson is a chelsea fan but a bigger arsenal fan somehow even though he'll never admit it.

I switched to the ITV coverage at half time because I got sick of listening to Gary Neville. But throughout the first half both him and Peter Drury were constantly saying how Arsenal need to be more urgent and get a goal. They seemed to be completely oblivious to the fact that Chelsea were a goal down.

To add to the irony, today is the 10th anniversary of picrel.
Reckon he got reminded of that today, just before watching two successful players-now-managers contending a semi-final, while you're paid to babble at a microphone in the cuck chair. Imagine how painful it feels kek. Sure hope it does.

Tbf, Gyokeres looks infinitely better when he's playing with someone who passes forwards quickly and actually puts in through balls. If Kai had started this game with Gyokeres, >we might have seen both of them score.

Rosenoir already has a worse record than the previous 4 managers. Arteta loves playing against Chelsea.
>>
>>153258021
He was rightly cooked. He played like Chelsea were a goal up. Maybe he got confused how the tournament works. Either way you could see he wasn't the least bit upset at the result and definitely figured Chelsea did exactly what he wanted them to do.
Next game now, just go 9 points clear of shitty I beg of you. Every single time they hit this mark they blow it and it remains 5-7 points. This one time take the goddamn shot go 9 points clear. Sorry but it's still all I can think about.

I want to remain optimistic but can't shake the fact that we've been in the same predicament the last few years and no results and titles. Unless you're the overly optimistic Swede anyone share similar sentiment?

Not even close. We've never been in such a promising position in our entire history, this is not an exaggeration it's a fact. I'm confident we're getting something this time.

i could screenshot like this dozens of times during the game and show you why arteta hates eze.
jogs back to this position, misidentifies where he should be, looking at the center back to stop the back pass (havertz is already there). palmer simply walks into the space eze should be cutting off or occupying. palmer takes the ball and loses it outside of the box, but its arguably a chance for chelshit.
eze is not good enough defensively.

The guy married his wife and had his first child while he was at Arsenal.
He had a long term injury and the club stood by him until his full recovery and getting back to his best form.
There are things in life that are far more important than scoring a goal in the final and winning the CL.
>>
>>153259168
>There are things in life that are far more important than scoring a goal in the final and winning the CL.
i know what you mean but at the same time kai scoring for us in the cl final and winning it... thats the most important thing he can do hah

>The guy married his wife and had his first child while he was at Arsenal.
>He had a long term injury and the club stood by him until his full recovery and getting back to his best form.
Tbf, he was celebrating scoring against Chelsea even before his first long term injury and iirc before he got married as well. Pretty sure he was happily celebrating in that one 5-0 game. I think it's just that Chelsea just treat their players like absolute shit.
>>
>>
>>153258021
>Its funny how Paul merson is a chelsea fan but a bigger arsenal fan somehow even though he'll never admit it.
Arsenal gave him an actual career and helped him out with his personal problems, and won trophies with them.

Gary Neville is probably the most anti arsenal pundit. The dismay in his voice whenever arsenal are doing well brings me so much joy. Snivelling little boot licker shill. When arsenal win the CL, EFL Cup, FA Cup and the league title he will genuinely kill himself.

right, sunderland are gonna be running like marauders out the gate on the weekend. hope we can keep them quiet for the 1st half then snatch some goals once they tire out a bit. zubi and rice are gonna be knackered.
>>
>>153258933
That area we have struggled to defend all season long. Sometimes Rice and Zubimendi just disappear from the middle of the pitch. That barely ever happened with Partey.
>>153261008
I think the Swedish commentating was just as bad.
Commentator 1:
>Chelsea must be really happy with that first half
Comm 2:
>Wouldn't Arteta be just as happy since they are in the lead and control the game?
Comm 1:
>Nah, Arteta is unhappy that they haven't been able to create more and score more goals
>>
>>153261008
Absolutely hilarious how both ITV and Sky Sports were trying to pretend that Rosenior's masterplan was to soak up pressure, then hit Arsenal with a late goal, only for Arsenal to literally do exactly that and win the game without getting out of second gear. Somehow Karen Carmey was the only one who actually pointed out before full-time that Chelsea were a goal down.
>>
>>153258330
I think Gyökeres has also been very good since Jesus and Havertz has come back. All strikers are doing well. Unfortunately now all wingers and offensive midfielders has dropped down in quality (or dropped dead)
>>
>>153261055
>Chelsea adopt Match of the Day tactic to stop Arsenal set-piece threat
>Step forward Liam Rosenior and Chelsea, who tried an innovative way of stopping them in their Carabao Cup semi-final second-leg tie on Tuesday night - just days after former Manchester City and Newcastle goalkeeper Shay Given had suggested similar on Match of the Day.

Didn't help them much, they didn't score and they still conceded from a counter attacking goal no less lmao.

They don’t travel that great though so it all depends on how we turn up. He better kick the shit out of the players again before the game. City will drop points again as the scousers are looking better desu.

I think it's worrying that he's progressively getting worse. He has played shit ton of minutes by now, probably more than he did all season last year. At times you literally forgot he was on the pitch
>>153261819
He has that smug passive aggressive Redditor face. Needs to be humiliated more in the league when >we play them at the Emirates in a few weeks
>>

Wirtz finding his form, Havertz and Musiala seemingly bouncing back back from their injuries with no issues. Only GOATEmade is worrying me a bit. If he manages to pull himself together, >we are unstoppable in the summer.

Ugly, ugly game.
However, a win's a win.
That being said, what were _they_ thinking, starting the game with 5 defenders while being 1 down on aggregate already? Hope some high calibre pundit, like Garry Neville or maybe even „Jamie” Carragher, pointed this out and had a field day with the morons responsible.

Is anyone just waiting in extreme inpatient for the next match ?
I have started believing >we could actually win something bros after so many years . Not just something in general but the league. Plus the cups.
Is it really happening? I genuinely don't know what I will do football wise if >we don't win the league or at least the champions league. But the league is more important.

I'm an oldfag, been watching religiously since the 06/07 season. There was only one year where I stopped and probably only caught one or two matches - the 18/19 season. I contemplated quitting Arsenal, mostly because I dated someone who hates sports and the games are on early in the morning here, but my TRUE love pulled through.
I have incredible hope for this season, but I had the same level in 23/24 and we all saw what happened. I guess I'm just saying it's smart to temper your expectations and try to enjoy the ride.

is there even a need for university in this day and age educationally speaking?
basically most knowledge is now available online, you can learn any field by just sitting on the the internet and using different GPTs and ta browser and some brain power.
but i guess it's still needed for the manufactured socializing sense, even though most people in college have become the literal embodiment of NPCs, you can basically predict the chat options that go through their heads in most discussions.

theres some similar non arsenal youtube channels too
