I went to one in Hawaii years back. Shit wasn't the most fun, but the week was cool. Players were out hanging around, there were some skills challenges, the game was high scoring (even if soft), this is just dumb. I don't even think anyone can throw it long with how low this roof is. Heck, I went to one in Vegas and even that was at least kinda fun to walk around and fuck around with while the game was split up in quadrants.

This should legitimately be over forever unless they do something new. It's embarrassing for the players and everyone involved.

Why did they get rid of the game?

They don't want the players to get injured playing the normal pro bowl games like they always did before. But also players have to play an extra week of regular season football than they used to. It just was too much I guess.

Pro Bowls in the past were the best players at each position from each of the two conferences playing a scrimmage game after the season. Due to injury concerns (players don’t want to potentially get hurt in a meaningless game), the entire concept was reworked into sports drills and a flag football game.

Some players don’t even show up if they’re chosen (previous plans, injuries, playing in the Super Bowl, etc) so they choose replacements, often times much worse players. It became a genuinely hyped event to a joke of itself.
