PSG will win no matter what
Lens had a tiny chance but blew it, now they're starting to lose games
OM start winning again despite their debatable performances and shit ambiance
OL won 16 games straight and are now on a downward spiral (partially because of a shitload of injuries)
Lille were stalling but they're picking up traction again
ASM are on fire, probably one of the best teams right now (they beat Lens and PSG recently)
Rennes are doing good again but I don't see them reaching CL spots this year
Strasbourg aka Chelsea B are good against good teams and shite against shite teams (the mercenary effect)
The bottom 3 are basically cooked, OGCN would deserve to be demoted but won't
The rest are your average L1 club I don't follow, you'll have to ask their fans

Addendum to

>Angers SCO
Doing a bit better than expected. They're pretty much safe from relegation which as the goal for the season. Technically overperforming sine they have the lowest budget in the league and had a true nightmare season not that long ago.
>Toulouse
Not doing bad at all either all things considered. They were firmly a yo-yo club nbot that long ago and are now a stable mid-table club. Their media team keep taking the piss.
>Lorient
Were promoted last year. Recently bought by an american investment group which seems to be working out so far.
>AJ Auxerre
One of the historical "small clubs", not currently doing too hot...
>Brest
Has a miracle season a few years ago, finishing second and playing in the UCL. Now back to earth but performing okay considering the low budget (third lowest in the league)
>OGC Nice
serious contender for KWAB of the season. Were consistently playing for european spots previously, currently struggling to stay out of the relegation zone.
>FC Metz
Currently holds the record for most ups and downs between Ligue 1 and 2. Looks to continue their generational run of not staying in the same league two seasons in a row.
>Paris FC
Either a success or a complete fail depending on who you ask. When they were promoted last year after being purchased by LVMH and suddenly acquiring the 4th largest budget in the league, they announced they were like any recently promoted club and would look to avoid relegation. In that regard, they're doing pretty well. But considering the fact that they are outclassed by Angers, Toulouse and Brest which combined make up two thirds of their budget, 13th out of 18 is not a great performance.
>Le Havre
Used to be the poster child of Ligue 2, now seem to be stable in Ligue 1, usually playing the relegation battle.
>Nantes
Years and years of mismanagement are catching up to them and they're going down, which they had coming.

they absolutely did, and i agree with you.
Problem is, the entire competition was rigged to hell for morocco, even against Tanzania there was a clearly pen that was never given and would have get them to E.T.
Then the fucking ball boys, some supporters, and morroccan players stealing the goalie's towels, and finding ways to cheat the finak without any repercussions? disallowed clear senegal goal, right before the bullshit pen?
In UEFA morrocco would have been already banned from competitions way before senegeleses decided to chimpout. African football was already shit, but they killed it beyond salvation.
And if the entire planet is calling you out for this, because that's the case right, you know you're done.

When everybody gets fucked over with weird decisions that are always in a favour of one certain team, what are you supposed to do when it's your turn? Just take it up the ass and not say anything? What happened after chelsea - barça from 2009? Nothing
Of course it's not sportsmanlike but giving a fake 3-0* win in a final by refusing to play is the best way for posterity to make people remember something fishy happened and it prevents that full credit is given to the team that won unfairly. When kids in 20 years look up footage of this game, they will find this bullshit and realize Morocco riggitini'd the tournament. It's also a very delicate situation for refs because whether or not they were paid, they know stopping the match is antithetical to the spirit of football, which is supposed to be won by scoring more goals, not through his own decision. In a final it's even more ridiculous and gives a bitter taste to the whole tournament. Stopping a game abruptly not only ruins the show for the thousands of fans who paid their ticket but risks provoking (or aggravating) riots in the stands
It would be an issue if it happened because of decisions that could be interpreted as caused by the ref's incompetence, but in this particular exceptional scenario I don't think it is. I just hope retards don't start doing it in cases where they feel they were wronged even though it's not the case, it should remain exceptional.
Also, thinking about it further, Senegal had nothing better to do because it was a last minute penalty, if Brahim scored it was over, Senegal had no option to continue fighting fair and square against the corruption
One more thing, all the fines that concerned the "towel war", against ball boys and players that took part in this bullshit, were dropped. This shit is 100% shady, like in what world is this acceptable? They fucking wrestled the substitute goalkeeper

for the same reason Le Normand somehow plays for spain
>>
>>153928868
it's ridiculous for Le Normand but it's a whole farce for Olise
Le Normand at least lived in Spain for many years since 2016, while Olise wasn't born in France, never lived in France, doesn't have a single drop of French blood and doesn't speak French
the is the son of a purebred Nigerian dad and a purebred Algerian mother who also had the French nationality because of living on French soil for long enough, but later moved out to England
Olise only wanted to play for France because he liked the team when he was a kid (from his own words lol) he would've played for England if they were more succesful
>>
>>
File: mbCxdn.png (153.1 KB)

>>153928911
are you a functionnal retard? I have to ask. Le Normand magically became "Spanish" when he was transfered to Sociedad; born in France, ethnic, Breton family, NOT EVEN BASQUE (*points Finger at the other opportunistic faggot, who's not even spanish basque, but french basque*) raised in France, played in breton club his entire life and started pro at Brest.
THEN he was transfered to sociedad, and magically became spanish in 2023, with no ethnical/racial connection to spain AT ALL whatsoever.
If you somehow think he is more legit than Olise, you're either a retard, baiting, or a chud.
Pick your poison. There are some controversial NT choices, but Le Normand is literally the worst case of them in modern Football without any competition.
>>
>>153928992
I pointed out that it was ridiculous for Le Normand but if you think it's more "normal" for Olise then you are clearly the retard
think about it
>none of them have blood from the country they're playing for
>none of them were born on the soil of the country they're playing for
>none of them have inherited from the culture from their parents (do I have to explain it to you that algerians in France don't assimilate to the culture? Olise's mother is probably as english as she is french considering she now lives in England)
>Le Normand has a personal history with Spain because he has actually lived there for years, even if it's for football, thus he knows his shit about the country he's playing for and its culture
>Le Normand learnt the language by living inside this country, he is fluent
>Olise has NEVER lived in France, only visited during holidays and stayed there when playing for France's youth sections before he joined the A list
>Olise started learning the language because he started playing for France, he can barely speak it, his mother definitely did not speak to him in French when he was a kid (or else he would be much better)
Just like I said, if England had as much success as France, he would play for England. Olise is just a pathetic glory chasing mercenary who picked the strongest side he could. Le Normand is also a mercenary considering he joined Spain after realizing that it would be near impossible for him to join France but he's a lesser one because he has lived in Spain for very long now, probably likes the country for things other than football and has assimilated at least a bit into their culture. Let me repeat it: Olise has no french culture
>>
>>
>>153929110
He started with the U18 team in 2019, conveniently one year after France won the world cup. How odd, what a strange coincidence. Not the U15, not the U16 and not the U17 either
He didn't want to play for England and take part in the legacy of the 60 years of hurt, he grew up at a time when everybody was a fan of Zidane and Henry. The only thing he knows about France is the national team but I doubt he can name 15-20 french clubs. He's simply opportunistic, a mercenary

>What kind of football / atmosphere / level of power are you looking for?
I have a liking for clubs strongly identified to their communities and clubs with strong academies, but that's not a requirement. I don't care much about whether the teams are strong or not, and would rather steer clear from the obvious PSG/OL/OM bunch (even though I have nothing against them).
I had a great experience watching non-Bayern Bundesliga games and also following other minor leagues like the Eliteserien, so I figured I should give French football a try and get a feeling of what the league really is like. No high expectations for quality football, but I'd like to see something authentic.

I invite you to join the SCO fanbase.
There's like 5 of us in the entire country.
When a japanese guy on twitter started supporting the club because he liked Boufal (who no longer even played here), it was so unusual to have a supporter outside of France, the club invited him to come watch a home game. Which we lost. Badly.
All our best known players were good in other clubs. Not in a cool "they train tomorrow's greats and do the heavy lifting so others can flourish" but in the "oh good, he's out of this dead-end team, now he can finally play up to his potential"
Our club owner is (allegedly) a fraudster and (allegedly) a sex pest.
We have the lowest stadium attendence rates in the league. When PSG and OM are in town, they're basically playing at home.
You WILL regret accepting the invitation.
It's a shit club but it's MY shit club and I wouldn't have it any other way.

They dont have qatari money but Lensniggas are absolute fanatics, if they have to chose between funding endless n'gubus and paying rent, there's gonna be a squad of 50 n'gubus.

nazis are leftists = terrorists.

yep i was too fast and knew i forgot something, but yea, first poll is void, the good one is the second poll with Lens, losing a derby 3-0 is a huge KWABOTW contender indeed
>>
>>154127064
that's their best defender and yea they were scared to lose to Lens so valid crashout, but to play the devil's advocate his country hasn't qualify for a while so it's also understandable and lille's wild for that

When /yourguys/ suck, they suck and you can't escape it.
It is how it is.
I live in hope that we eventually stumble upon a great prospect in our academy or grab one from a National team the way we did Lepaul and overperform enough while the stars align and some bigger clubs have their Gym-25-26 moment, and we bullshit our way into a Converence League spot.
That or a Coupe de France run. Not a win though. We're cursed to only reach the final every 50 years to the day. And lose.

I'm the only Brazilian f(l)ag that posts here. Honesty forces me to admit I wasn't impressed by what I saw but I'll assume I didn't choose their best game. I'd like to visit Bretagne in the (somewhat) near future so maybe that could also help.

Mogging of the week.
Unless PSG gets x-0'd at Lens by rotating their entire squad and keeping the big boys fresh for Anfield - for nothing because Lens already choked their way out of title contention - I don't think we're going to see anything funnier than this over the weekend.
>>
>>154175286
If you want to be impressed, I'd recommend watching any other league.
As annoying as the "muh farmers league" memes are, there is a kernel of truth to them and /liguehein?/ is and will always be the home of the sunday afternoon 0-0.
Half the league is made up of clubs currently struggling to stay afloat, most know they won't really contend for anything because they rely too much on player sales to build and raise their level over time and nobody wants to invest into clubs anymore because there have been too many cases of owners getting burned.
It takes a special kind of deranged to watch the league today especially if you're not interested in one of the stable "big clubs" .
The outlook is not great, unfortunately.
BUT I STILL BELIEVE
I WILL NEVER STOP BELIEVING
We're all gonna make it.
Except Nice.
KWAB of the season if they get relegated.
