Almost never out of position, prerotates and peel switches like a motherfucker, surprisingly strong and good at taking contact for such a skinny frame. I just watched Kawhi get burned by a close out against Portland but there are anons in here that still think hes a great defender because he gets steals when players are standing right infront of him stagnantly dribbling. Because too many of you guys dont understand how much more complicated modern defense has to be with the movement, stop and starts, cutting motions etc. Its part of what makes SGA so valuable, his ankles and limbs are so flexible that he can stop and start at insane angles without injury, and split defenses with ease. But I know a lot of you are fake ball knowers so you dont actually understand these elements of modern basketball.

To put into perspective how insane of a defensive play it was. This is the position Traore ends up in, trying to react to a closeout. And he is able to recover from that position and completely close off McCains drive. I just dont know if the retards here can comprehend how insane of a feat this is. People are lower on Traore than me because theyre simply not watching his games closely. Every rookie has flaws. Every rookie has warts. The thing that is rarer for a rookie to have, is high iq, and skills that are so valuable that contending teams wish they had it in their starters, and they dont.
