V3 is hopefully the definitive version, it's up to date and replaces a lot of old sets with higher quality versions

V2 became messier as i got the full res sets for more and more cosplayers to the point were it made more sense to just start again rather than keep adding dupes

no, personally what i do for organizing is change the name on the torrents to include which part is it (just select it and press F2), put a "track" label on the latest torrent and add them to the "cosplay library" category

unfortunately the category/tag system is pretty bad (you can't exclude tags/categories or filter by multiple tags) so it's not that much better than just using the search box

In your torrent program, select infohash, thats what those are.

OP anon how do you think of this way to update torrents. Since you are updating in parts and a set amount of cosplayers are in it. So just make v2 part. Then provide a a total known file list. So what's not on it delete it.

This saves you the headache of doing a v4.

they will work as magnets, in the end a magnet is just an infohash and a list of trackers and you don't really need the trackers for a public torrent because of DHT (plus you can add them afterwards)

i'm not sure i understand The issue is that there are different images with the same name in V2 and V3 mostly image quality upgrades, if you were to download them on top of each other there would be overrides (or errors), i've also changed some set names, removed some duplicate images from the middle of sets (meaning the images below went up a number so now they don't match the names of V2). I've also separated some sets and merged others. All in all trying to keep it as V2 would have been a mess

I've been looking for alternatives to torrent with version control (things like IPFS and torrentV3) but they need me to reannounce the latest version periodically or the torrent would die, so they have the "hit by a bus" problem plus they're not popular enough for people to bother learning how to use them just to get some cosplay pics

part 6 should be out soon BTW, i'll finish it up as soon as i fix the backup site

This pack is absolutely amazing obviously, and I will forever be thankful to the original anon who's been maintaining it (and whoever reuploads on Nya)
However, it's a bit of a shame I don't have nearly the disk space to download everything at once, else I'd be terribly interested in a "sort/search by character" type of thing; I guess first you'd have to build a small utility to standardise the formatting and spelling of character names across the whole thing (since they tend to be very inconsistent), which would be trivial, and then you could easily have a leaderboard/sorter by popularity (or to find which cosplayer has done which specific character)

Is there any tsuki desu in this collection?
