Any ways to run image gen locally?
I'd like to make something in the style of picrel.
>>
>>97409424
>Any ways to run image gen locally?
Yes. I would talk to a robot about it as they're pretty knowledgeable about image gen. I personally use ComfyUI but would not recommend it unless you're into node-based programming. I don't know much about the other ones but I know the Forge series and SwarmUI are both functional and much easier to use

The /g/ generals also have useful links
>>>/e/107921834

There are plenty of shadow-heavy, chiaroscuro loras on civitai that can help you get toward that sort of image. Try searching "dark fantasy" or "dark scifi" and going from there

Don't think too hard on it guys, I'm not even the original Piro poster. I'm was just trying to make a leaping figure holding a flame out in front of her with both hands.
Bing can't seem to handle both hands being in front of her. And I asked for a darker bronze skin just to contrast the gold background and when that came up it just looked too much like piro for me to pass up.
>>
>>97411287
And when I asked for charcoal/onyx black skin for my white-haired dark elf, Bing got retarded and made her pale as a sheet.

It's gonna be a bit hard to pick up in a side view shot since one is behind the other except for a bit of shaped shadow like pic related, but try

Dead threads. Perhaps putting well established characters into the OP picture isn't too healthy to the thread?

Plenty of people do. I know lowercase and I aren't the only ones to think this way. There are good posters here who are about posting nice images, not making things about themselves and their OCs. If we had more of those types of posters, I feel like this community would be healthier, and attract more members.

Suddenly something shifted outside the window.

Ashley’s head twitched toward the sound, slow and uncertain, like a machine trying to remember its purpose. Her thoughts were already drifting apart, dissolving into gray mush as the virus chewed through neurons one by one, switching lights off in rooms no one would ever enter again.

The cheerleader saw her chance.

She eased backward, inch by inch, heart hammering so hard she was sure Ashley could hear it. She kept her breath shallow, careful.

Then her sneaker betrayed her.

A sharp, traitorous squeak cut through the room.

Ashley snapped back around. Her blank white eyes locked on, sudden and precise. Too precise. Her mouth sagged open, jaw slack, and her pale tongue slid slowly over cracked lips.

“R-remember,” the cheerleader whispered, tears burning hot behind her eyes. “I’m not food, Ashley. I’m not—”

“F-food,” Ashley echoed.

The word came out soft and ruined, like a child mispronouncing something important. She tilted her head, studying her friend with an expression that might once have been curiosity. Or affection. Or hunger.

Probably hunger.

And in that moment, the cheerleader understood the worst part; not that Ashley was gone, but that some small piece of her was still there, watching, waiting, and deciding.

With the restrictions lifted on the brays and forn, life in the village returned to the still new sense of normalcy. Svetsa joined Nelios the smith at the forge and began work on her first attempts at metal craft. Meanwhile, Tewea was glad to have the socially curious Blommand around to help at the bar again. She had been sorely missed by both her and the patrons.

Life in the dangerous southern plains was much different for the mercenaries. A few nights a week a large centigor could be seen standing in the distance near the forest. She would stare at the men for hours if left alone, but pointed her machete at them before turning to leave if they moved towards her. Once, a giant horrific flying beast came shrieking and crashing out of the night sky. It ravaged the men, killing several and injuring dozens before being brought down. Worse still, every morning the camp would awaken to find one single man had been murdered. Most were asleep in their tents when they died, but a few were the night watchmen found lying beside blood filled hoof prints. It quickly became clear: fear was the point. There was no other way to describe it than terrorism.
>>
>>97425197
However, something far more dangerous has appeared in the four season valley. One of the brays who'd spent time with the mages at the library attempted to continue her studies on her own during her time away from town. Without the careful tutelage and care of a learned mage, she made new discoveries. Ones born from the forest and old lost knowledge. She was a bray not a gor, as she still believed in peaceful integration. But the gors recognized the destructive potential of these magics and forced her to teach these mystical ways to others. It didn't take long for the bray-shamans caste to bloom.

Which do you guys who generate locally prefer, ComfyUI or Easy-Diffusion?
>>
>>97425207
https://files.catbox.moe/4kdrrz.mp4
wanted to post this but it had sounds and i can't be assed to fix that right now.
>>
>>97425231
I'm afraid I haven't tried EasyDiffusion so I can't comment. But the gist I get is that it works fine and using Comfy is unnecessary unless you really want the extra modularity and slightly better stability. I use Comfy also because I'm used to node-based programming
>>
>>97425231
>>97425231
I mostly use Forge for my gens.
I don't recommend Comfy often, and I'd never recommend it for a beginner.

>>
>>97425231
ComfyUI is to human sanity as ionizing radiation is to human flesh. One glance at its node-based interface, and you'll go as mad as a H.P. Lovecraft character reading the Necronomicon.

>>97425491

>>
Is it possible for Comfy to be... Not, node-based?
>>
>>97425518
It's possible one of the easier ones has Comfy as a backend, I don't really know. Another beginner level one to look into is SwarmUI, not to put more on your plate. Just keep in mind whatever you choose will work fine, they're all reputable
>>
>>97425491

>>
>>97425584
Well, assuming you're the anon with the potato-tier computer, I'm not sure any option will reliably avoid that for you. But Comfy is allegedly more accepting of shitty hardware than other interfaces.
>>
>>97425610
>Potato-Tier computer.
Hey! A 2060 is still good for gaming, I just have only 8gigs of VRAM! And its a little hard to get anything newer these days... I was eyeing a 3060 with 12gigs of VRam, but it got sniped.
>>
>>97425621
My mistake, I thought you were using a 6gig GPU. What resolution are you trying to gen, and what batch size?
>>
>>97425701
>6gig GPU.
No, that is me. I got a bit confused. Damn tired.
My resolution is 768 by 1080. Batch size of one, and really just a lora through a model. Nothing to amazing. The weird thing is it was working fine all week, then suddenly - poof. All black.
>>
>>97425725
Hmm. Try dropping the resolution to 768x768. There's a reason Perchance uses that, since it tends to be lest demanding on hardware. Alternately, try disabling the lora and just genning using the base model.
>>
>>97425755
While I get to work on that tell me, what would be a suitable upgrade from this 2060?
>>
>>97425757
An H200 would be a good start.

Okay, I jest. But I was the one who recommended that 12gig 3060 last month. Sorry to hear you couldn't get it. Personally, I've been running a 16gig 4070ti for a couple years now, but I recognize that tech like that has become somewhat unattainable of late.
>>
>>97425774
Well if it helps I solved my space problem. I managed to snag another NVME that was at least 2tb, so I can store my games on that and the AI stuff on the other. Good to know the same folk are still in the same thread. Still, I'll keep my eye on a 12gigger 3060. While not really /tg/, here. One of the last things I managed to generate before it went flump on me.

I gotta think of the way to finish this Howler's plotline somehow, as it's already pretty long, and I didn't plan him or his underlings to be a regular element of the story.

Besides, I reckon that Lancel is no longer any concern now everybody thinks he lost his marbles? Not to mention the only thing he remembered from the whole thing were beastwomen, not mercenaries slaughtering his soldiers, or a freaking talking werewolf in a coat which kicked his ass.

Ilska can solve that. Skivare was psychotic and cruel, but Ilska runs an army.
Yeah Lancel is gone. He'd probably end up becoming a questing knight instead of a knight of the realm, but thats it. The werewolf doesn't differentiate cause that's still just another beastman in his eyes.
>>
>>97428488
I was thinking about something that might also involve elves from the town, but at this point mercs are not in the position to attack first.
>>
>>97428488
And I forgot to ask in the previous post. Lancel has no idea who rescued him, isn't it?
>>
>>97427008
Not sure if this is the same in ED, but I've seen that same result happen if you have too many "steps" in your prompt, or too high of a prompty focus. If there is a slider for either of these, reduce it.
>>
>>97428508
Yeah easy enough. Ilska is already the one in charge of the wild elf archers. Could ask Skogsrå directly, or one of the Bray's to connect the elven military to Ilska. And the elves have the brayhorn the Black thorn herd gave them still.
>>97428567
He has no idea at all.
>>
>>97428861
You know, despite their relation, I don't think it would be wise for elves to be seen alongside beastwomen by outsiders. That's why they were asked to stay in the forest until Lancel leaves.

And for the other reply, I think it's for the better. I have no idea how he would react when he realized he was rescued by an elf girl, but something makes me thing he would become quite a nuisance for her.

Only thing faggercase cares about is himself and his ego. Since he returned on /g/'s /de3/ months ago, he managed to push out everyone else with his constant backseat modding. And now the thread is finally dead, maybe for real this time.

And I really don't understand how one can't see the irony in criticizing posters making "things about themselves and their OCs", while making the *whole* thread about oneself and one's definition of what fits and what doesn't fit.

“I discovered a vendor concealing this pre-war relic among his wares. Naturally, I confiscated the contraband and executed the merchant. Upon activating the device, it began to vibrate. Suspecting some form of sonic weaponry, I immediately deactivated it and placed it in my squire’s pack for containment.

When I returned to headquarters, the clerics laughed when I presented the artifact. One of them remarked, ‘Perhaps we should let her keep this one. She’s always been a bit high-strung.’

I fail to see the humor.”

The only people even close to doing that are DK, WoWfag, Aurefag, etc. Even when you guys are arguing with the concern troll, you take up more space than him.

Amano+Klimt, specifically. It's one juxtaposition that works fairly well in NBP.
>>97433402
The issue is "space" more than someone claiming control of a general, causing quite possibly some people to leave because they dislike that?

So I’m poking around this old abandoned Vault when I run into some guy in full power armor, carrying an extraterrestrial-looking laser rifle and so many stimpaks and Jet vials he could barely move. Naturally, I thought: run straight at him with a tire iron and scream something like, ‘You better have something good on you!’

Turns out that was a bad call. The ambush failed. He pulled out a mini-nuke and blew everything to hell.

Bad day.

Not so sure about the furry content, but that's damned impressive from a technical standpoint. If you look at what AI was making a year ago, the progress in terms of realism is amazing.

Also, you claimed the 150th image, so you know what must be done.

Yeah I think I'll have a wank and go to bed, ta
>>
>>97433449
Look man, I'm not on his side either. I just want both sides of the argument to shut the fuck up. But the fact of the matter is OC posters do take up more space than him *even when he's here* because you all gleefully argue with him. And when he's not here I agree the OC posting can get excessive and drains incentive to come here just as much as the arguing does. At least the arguing is more easily filterable.
>>
>>97434176
It's a rolling general, there is no "space", there's this thread, and the one after that.
>>
>>97434176
>At least the arguing is more easily filterable.
I don't see how. One can just avoiding to read fully the nonsense posted by OC posters, just like one can skip the drama. And like the other anon said, there's no "space" issue here, threads are ephemeral by design on 4chan, the problem is the toxicity of the environment.
>>
>>97434258
And frankly, I'll take OC posters chatting, RPing and generally enjoying eachother's company over a single faggot who thinks he owns the threads and everyone has to abide by his demented demands.
>>
>>97434258
>I don't see how.
Press [F] and 4chanX shall filter all comments without images.
>>
I like the OCs and I like even the guy who bitches about the OCs can we keep both
>>
>>97434116
Well, if the baker has abandoned his post, I'll do it. Gimme a minute and we'll have a new thread up.
>>
>>97434271
His behavior is less indicative of "owning the thread" than the OC posters' behavior. They far more behave like they're the owners of this thread.

>>97434258
You filter noimg posts (on 4chanX called "faptyme" I believe), or you filter the first post in the argument and it hides the rest.

Pretending I'm a different person is not a good look either.
>>
>>97434384
>stop lying... except that you're not lying
Wow.
>>
>>97434364
Posting OCs doesn't imply ownership of the thread, others are just as welcome to post their own stuff. It's people that say "collage similar pictures", "this belongs to X board", "don't roleplay", "this is not Discord", who act like they literally own the thread.

>>

>>
>>97434491
That's an empty non-reply. Why don't you apply your anger equally to all ESLs in the thread, unless you're a toxic hypocrite?
>>
>>97434503
I actually do. The ESL comment didn't have a lick to do with the thread as a whole, just pointing out how few people agree with you and that one of them is one of the ESLs in the thread. You are desperately scrabbling.
>>
>>97434454
>He is in fact the only one that has ever kind of agreed with you about 'muh quality'
Stop lying. Assuming you're right about Comfy, that makes him, me, Mazefag and lowercase at minimum who have these sentiments. And that's probably the tip of the iceberg since excessive avatarfagging is against 4chan culture.
>>
>>97434487
