Be a billionaire and help Spider-Man get his life in order.
Mainly he just hired Peter Parker and gave him his own lab to conduct whatever research in he seems fit with immense funding, minimal oversight and no time pressure for results and full authority. So he had financial security and a really flexible schedule to fit with his crime fighting, as well as the ability to manufacture whatever he needs for his crime fighting. Jumper also owned the Trademark for Spider-Man and used it to sell all kinds of merch, with the proceeds going to Peter laundered through his lab fund as well as a number of charities.
Though this was less something jumper did in Spider-Man rather than a small side project involving Spider-Man when he was in Marvel, where he mostly was focused on the Mutant side of things.

ABSOLUTE FUCKING BLASPHEMY
You know how much WORSE Gohan is than Jumpchain? Imagine the most BADLY SPELT, GAUDISHLY ILLUSTRATED, POORLY BALANCED, 300 page Reddit jump. Fill it with drawbacks that give you omnipotence in exchange for having HAMSTERS nibble on your ELDERBERRIES, and have the author copy more than HALF the text from ELSEWHERE. LASTLY, run the ENTIRE jump through AI with SPECIFIC instructions to make it as CRASS and UNMEMORABLE BUT BLOATED as possible, then TRANSLATE THE ENTIRE DOCUMENT INTO FRENCH.
THAT is what Gohan is to the HALLS OF JVMPCHÆŇ

I got The Endstone from MtG. It's really good to have on hand since it's basically just a genie lamp if you don't care about the timeline becoming fucked.

The MONSTRANCE of CELESTIAL PORTION, which I use to TORMENT Gohan into a tormented INVERSION of himself. Thus like a Solar EXALTATION, through gruelling torment and misery SHITHAN is inverted into his darker half GOHAN COLUMBINE. Only to JOB EVEN HARDER, utterly BREAKING his spirit with the knowledge that even his edgy alter ego is nothing but a fuarking FAILURE.

>>97485862
Causality manipulation. It can take an event and make it happen in pretty much any way you want by rewriting the past. Like if you're getting attacked by a guy you can wish he just inexplicably forgot all his weapons. If you're going to die it can grab some rando and have them die in your place by making the event "someone died here" not point to you. It's legit super busted, the issue is that it has its own conscious and that it fucks all over the timeline everywhere by causing absurd coincidences.
When it was used to disappear a massacred colony, it just had all the colonists not show up but all the signs of habitation produced themselves from infrastructure failures, down to the amount of food they consumed spoiling every month and being re-ordered due to a software glitch, and crystal buildups in the exact shape of their corpses- but who cares when you'll be gone from the timeline in 10 years?

You know what ELSE makes the GENIE a little ANAL? Making him change EVERY BUG in the UNIVERSE to ALWAYS be just a little different to how SHIThan describes them in his research, like a different colour or missing a leg or actually being a very small mouse.
>>
>>97485909
Then I'm sure you can understand that changing the entire universe by reorganising all matters that exists into things that are not protons or neutrons but some kind of ultramassive form of matter would at least be interesting.
>>
>>
>>97485878
>who cares when you'll be gone from the timeline in 10 years?
This applies to a lot of stuff desu. You can make deals with demons for power and then just make them collect in like 30 years, you can take loans that you won't ever have to pay off, you can do all the drugs and combat stims you want because your body will be reset, you can even sell your organs because it's all going to regrow at jump end.

A little conundrum. If Jumper was to go back to the 60s in Marvel and steal away Sue before Reed and her officially get together, who should Jumper help wingman Reed into meeting so he doesn't fall into supervillainy without a wife kids?

Why risk INCREASING the total potential amount of Gohan HAPPPINESS when I could FOCUS on SEEKING and DESTROYING all POSSIBLE Gohans instead? Also the Genie is a BRO, I TRUST that he will do the RIGHT THING and NATURALLY come to realise that Gohan is a worthless piece of shit that deserve ETERNAL SUFFERING. After all, it's more MEANINGFUL if the Genie comes to HATE Gohan of his own VOLITION.

Oddly enough, the Bound Spellbook that the Poleiheira Adherent Wizard archtype in Pathfinder gets. It's a spellbook with infinite pages and written in code, which always opens up to the right page when you open it AND which you can turn any book into with an hour long ritual.
You'll lose some spells if you do that last one, but every bit of non-spell information is perfectly preserved. Which means you could definitely fill it with spell research to recreate your lost spells

You know that whole thing about how you can tell what kind of person someone is based on if they take the shopping cart back or not? I think I've come up with a much better way to judge someone's character. Ask them about a piece of media you both like and see which characters they glaze. For instance, game of thrones/Asoif. You can tell so much about someone based on who gets a pass for their bullshit.

That's gonna be pretty hard if they aren't fans of the same media you are. The shopping cart test however doesn't require any form of familiarity or conversation at all, you can just see how they behave in real time and almost immediately know if they can be trusted with responsibility or not.

CHADeas would have destroyed the observable universe. The Oort Cloud is part of the observable universe (very very small part btw). Nothing quite like being hit by a negligent truck driver and being turned into a frail looking albino loli, then winning a massive lawsuit to change someone's perspective in life.
Definitely have to hide how much money I got out of the settlement. A huge windfall is always a bad thing to advertise. Yeah, it's Touken Ranbu. I can never remember the name of it, so I just call it the gay sword gacha
>>
>>97496873
Turns out it was a bad idea. Not, like, because of the harem thing, but because I got annoyed at the idea of not being able to keep track of all my swords and ended up visiting GURPS Dungeon Fantasy and Lovecraft to fix that
Then I ended up hitting up Nekojishi for Clarity so I'd be able to keep track of them in a country-wide area, then I had to visit Samurai Deeper Kyo to pick up Shingan to use as the sense for Clarity because spiritual omniscience is neat, which led to my Halo being my Muramasa sword split up into twenty and enhanced by Steel Speaking
THEN I had to hit up JJK for Lone Ranger so I could make the Poltergeist perk from Nekojishi, which lets me move small objects with my spiritual power, able to affect everything within Clarity's sensory range, so I could take care of my sword husbands no matter how far away from me they go.
... Now they all left me because apparently the fact that I was watching them no matter what was creepy

I proceeded to live a normal life, with the exception of various perks and title purchases from other jumps and other societal boosts to jettison myself to the top of Japanese society and from thence proceed to take over the world the boring, bureaucratic, financial way. I ignored the clubs, which did not contribute to society nor advance my political grasp over the planet.
...
"Hey Anon, there's aliens" said Elodie, pointing at a passing UFO.
"That's nice, Elodie" I said, sipping my early morning poison.
"And, AND, those girls over there are espers" she said where some kids with changing hair colours were bending spoons.
"Fascinating but irrelevant to national GDP" I said, stirring poison into my poison.
Elodie stared me down, one eye twitching. "Just leave him be and take the W" advised Lilith, who was strolling by on the way to the Occult Club (she was the de facto club leader due to actually being an example of the occult).
"I, uh. I..." said Elodie, frantically waving her hands in my face as I stared at trout population statistics.
"Do you WANT our master to start marching war machines down the street and setting the sky aflame?" demanded Grail, who had run off and formed a Sukeban gang. All the gang members had slashed up the skirt to hip level on one side, following her example after she'd tripped in it a lot trying to do her usual backflips.

"Well, NO. NO, this is actually great!" yelped Elodie. "I'm just...guys, I'm waiting for the other show because YES, I KNOW he is actually entirely fulfilled and happy being a soulless cog in the machine as long as he gets to fix the whole machine by turning but I keep remember all those times he decides to BREAK THINGS which makes me scared for everything and everyone around him and and and-"
"Elodie" I said, sipping more poison, "would you do me the honour of being the Boke to my Tsukkomi in the comedy routine that is my life?"
Elodie twitched. "Y-yes Anon, I-I'd like that very much" she said, sagging in relief, "and not just because it means I have an excuse to keep an eye on you even though yes that is also a major reason"
"Capital" I said, chugging the whole poison mug.
"More poison, sir?" asked the nice snakey woman who was making my favourite beverage here.
"Don't mind if I do" I said, sipping another mug.
...
"So, do I even want to know?" began Elodie.
"It's not that deep, Elodie. It just tastes good" I said, sipping yet more poison.
"Oh"
"Probably not to your taste, though.
"Yeah, probably"
. . .
"Oh and by the way, the Math Club is disputing your tax tables" added Elodie.
The cup exploded in my hand. "THIS MEANS WAR. Elodie I am going over there and I'm going to show them these calculations are correct like A REAL MAN" I said loudly, exploding through the roof with such ferocity I jettisoned 3 nearby ghosts straight to the afterlife.
"You brought this on yourself" said Lilith, patting Elodie on the shoulder.

Before anyone asks, if you want to be a fucking superpowered pro wrestler in the Detective Comics Comics jump, just buy an object bound superpower so I don't have to write a goddamn WWE perk please and thank you.
>>97497922
So, like the other guy said in 3e Infernals have something different going on. See, every Infernal inherently has the capacity to form an inner world and manifest phenomena and entities from it as well as sprout subsouls from Essence 1. Also shintais are no longer a thing by and large, apart from a few like Scarlet Rapture or Black Mirror or Soul-Sand Devil Shintai which are no longer strictly speaking expressions of the Yozis' forms.
This is because there is no Reclamation in 3e, and the Infernals are the Chosen of Hell. Meaning their Essence is that of ALL the Yozis, from Hegra to Metagaos to Qaf to fucking Sacheverrel, all comingling and percolating together in their bitterness and spite and torment into something explicitly greater than the sum of it's parts with infinite potential. This potential can be expressed as a Devil-Body, a solipsistic god-delusion typically manifested through great duress or pain depending on the Infernal's caste that turns them into what 2e would consider an E5-tier Shintai. Rough approximations to Devil-Tyrant Avatar, Endless Desert and Heuristic Logos are all buildable at E1.
There is a conscious attempt to limit these powers mechanically. The WRITTEN inner world-manifesting Charms stop at things like elephants and pianos or replacing a tree or small hill with something stranger...and these are E2 Charms, with the implicit potential for upgrades. In fact, moreso than any Exalt type in 3e/due to laziness, Infernal Charms are organised with "Keys" that upgrade the base Charm multiple times over-turning a Dodge Charm that lunged at foes into blasting them with the Silent Wind as you charge them, for example.
1/2
>>
>>97497922
And the Devil-Body just gets more and more powerful as your Essence rises. Eventually you can be something like a radioactive hurricane of pure despair that absorbs Essence from people standing in it, churns the earth into impassable geometric patterns and leaches Essence out of people with every attack that shoots 3 bolts of lightning at someone in every instant and deflects incoming attacks with a forcefield. So do you 3CDs (which you can start making at E4. Your first is always your fetich, by the way) which by RAW always gain a rank of Essence as yours raises and with all upgraded Charms will therefore always be like 4 Essence ranks above you. It is...not clear this stops as an Infernal player goes above E5. You would assume the default pinnacle (as suggested elsewhere) in the book is the buck stops at E10 to prevent the weirdness of E10 Infernals eventually walking around with E14 fetiches, but the 3CDs are explicitly an expression of the Infernals' infinite potential and RAW says their numbers just keep going up.
Did I mention that Infernal Charms include being immune to not just shaping but sorcerous curses, psychic assaults, fiat-level destiny alterations and any unwanted body transformations for 5m1wp? Such an effect can be PERMANENT and FREE in a Devil-Body, which can be manifested indefinitely. They can also just, become utterly immune to disease/Crippling effects in that state.
It's. It's something, alright.

>>
>>97498659
Well at least in part, because the Skill Level and Terrifying Presence/Peacebringer depending on whether you want to be a heel/face purchases already exist. It's literally just the superpowered belt that seems to be the macguffin of this questionable decision of an arc.

Getting around the censorship is a little bit of a bitch. Adding SFW but female features like a bust usually needs a stipulated "but" at the end of the request to get through. A lot of places have generation limits and want an account, but resetting your IP on mobile and using temporary email services gets around about half of these.

>Just to check is there a reason I shouldn't use both, or is this version just straight up better?
Not Shard but the obvious hindrance for Jumpchain is that all of our jumps are laid out for 2e. Outside of jc there's also the issue of 3e being an unfinished mess that releases at a glacial pace but if that doesn't stop you feel free to go for it.
>>
>>97499408
Nta, but I think I'll have my infernal jumper tap into this bullshit once he hits E5. He's a drop in, and took the Child of the Devil Tiger, so he's not really a part of the whole thing, and making an E5 charm to make charms based on the entirety of hell sounds neat.

I'm a sledgehammer of a human being, I don't pay attention to details like that. I legitimately used like four or five together, and that's not including all of those I tried. I started with the two images I already associated with my Jumper, and generated a single male image from that. I then generated a female version. That was with whatever Chat GPT uses. You can get five free generations when you make an account, and can use an temporarily email service like Email on Deck to generate new accounts. I edited the MP4 with other sites. I mostly upscaled it, but also made it brighter. It might look worse for it, it being brighter. Hard tell, I'm on mobile.

Anyone know some perks/options that I could use to speed up Forgotten Realms magic item creation?
The XP and material cost is bad enough, but powerful items taking months of full time work to make is really hard to deal with.
Preferably something to cut down the time of big items to a few days max, preferably even less.
Not looking for gamer systems/crafting menus though.

Arcane Smithing from my Corruption of Champions Jump lets you forge things with just magic, and it's relatively instant.

Hit up Pathfinder, they have the ability to have multiple people work on the same magic item to make it faster
Alternatively, hit up Eberron and become an Artificer, then just make a Dedicated Wright to do the crafting for you. It won't make it go any faster, but you won't have to lift a hand to do it

3e is a confusing mess of conflicting priorities instead of just oWoD writers unable to let go of oWoDisms while being told to write a completely different game, I don't really begrudge people finding their kicks where they can when there's so much else wrong with the edition.
>>97499340
Lorewise and in the long term, both are comparable in a roundabout way. A 2e Devil-Tiger will eventually surpass and supplant the Primordials. A 3e regular Infernal isn't necessarily REPLACING the Yozis, but their power is qualitatively superior to theirs from the get-go due to having ALL the Yozis' Essence blended into a smoothy and refined by their pain and self-image. A lot of the Charms were carried over, but lorewise they're something new and weird unique to Infernals that just happens to evoke Yozi themes. 3e Infernals are, from the beginning, kind of like to Hell as a whole as Beasts are to the Human Order: Smaller in overall scale but much more ontologically dangerous and capable of things the greater system isn't.

The big difference that makes this version "straight up better" is that there is a mechanic called Primordial in 3e (the equivalent of Apocalyptic for Abyssals or Supernal for Solars) where Infernals (or other Solaroids can start buying Essence 5 Charms from chargen. This is a game where theoretically (as usual there are a LOT of caveats) the overall power of Exalt Charms is meant to cap at E5. This was disappointing when Solars started the edition off with relatively incoherent and disappointing Charms, passable when Abyssals learned from their mistakes and got more impressive but generally localised ones, and Infernals, well...3e Infernals can do things like
>Dodge so hard they strand someone in the depths of Cecelyne
>Use the Charm that used to be called Black Mirror Shintai
>Manifest a calamity on par with an unbound 3CD escaping into Creation from their nightmares by falling asleep for (10-Essence) days (yes, at E10 that does theoretically mean they can do it instantly and just spam calamities as long as they can keep paying like 30 motes)
>Become metaphysically larger than any direct or indirect opposition, unable to be moved against their will and VERY strong
They both have the same high grade transformative potential that is difficult to compare (other than, one assumes, Devil-Tigers presumably do NOT have a questionably written mechanic that could be construed as resulting in E14 subsouls) but 3e Infernals just get that shit much, much faster due to an attempt to compress the Exalt power curve and also their starter boost.

Not Shard but I think I can make an educated guess. The other Exalteds they had were ground they had covered. They had splats, they probably had added new charms and such for them in books. However for a rpg company they continually need new things to release crap about. So with new types of exalted they make you buy new books and new splats because they have these new shiny exalted and you have to buy the books to know what in the hell is going on. So in the end, why are there more Exalted types? Because White Wolf wanted to make more money.

How often do you houserule? The usual 1000cp works for most jumps, but after a certain point it feels bloated on a longer chain . All the minichains I've been working on recently were all 0cp to start, and I've been thinking about item-only or tweaks to gauntlets.

Every chain. I always have themes, to impose restrictions on Jumper and better justify picking up new companions to fill in the gaps, so that chains end up different and don't inevitably turn into the same Adventures of God-Man.

My current chain is 500cp start, can only keep perks related to knowledge and related to jumper's base powers.
Perk that makes you prettier? Can't keep it. Perk that makes you more charismatic? That's a learned skill, so sure. Perk that gives you 100 years experience using fire magic? That's a learned skill, but jumper doesn't naturally have fire magic, so he can't keep it. He could adapt it into the elements he does use, maybe.

Depends highly on the setting. The most extreme case I can think of is one year to the peak, some of the lower powered settings reach it within 10-50 years, others consider the reaching the most basic immortal stage within 200 years as fast and the most extreme ones have you sitting on your arse for a quadrillion years or longer at minimum.

Alright, whew, I'm done. I probably missed quite a, especially early on in the actual jump part. Honestly, the story and the world sound pretty neat, but I don't think I'll actually jump there. It's a combination of the power levels being way too high and the setting being way too dangerous, so I'd only want to jump there after already getting enough power that it seems somewhat pointless.

This one I don't think is too big an error since "Divine Descent" is the term itself, although I guess it may be more of a translation issue.

Fair enough. It's kinda the downside of the MC being a regressor and thus the author being free to make the world as stupidly dangerous as he feels like it without writing himself into a corner.
>>
>>97506377
>This one I don't think is too big an error since "Divine Descent" is the term itself, although I guess it may be more of a translation issue.
Oh yeah I just wasn't sured what divine descent meant. I guess it is explained a bit in the crown section.
>I don't think this is grammatically incorrect?
Yeah should be fine, I probably included a few parts mistakenly.
Since I am vaguely thinking about a build
>I’m not going to sugarcoat it; you will die
Presumably the drawback killing you without a chance to fight back is not the intention, since the rest of the text states you can struggle and fight back if you're powerful enough. But since drawbacks are generally meant to be taken literally this should probably removed, or being an Ender doesn't seem very worth it.

I mean, the only reason the Enders survived is because the MC could regress and thus had as many tries as needed to help out the other Enders. Scorned By Fate is meant to represent the "the MC only accomplished anything due to being a regressor and thus not dying when killed" levels of danger.
And yeah I don't think being an Ender is worth it, but I couldn't just not offer it since they're such big parts of the story.
>>
>>
>>97506420
Yeah, but this is jumpchain, and if anyone is going to this setting they probably have a bunch of OOC shit. Hell, despite the notes saying many people are all powerful, it is entirely possible to go in with nothing and nobody being able to touch you. So unless the drawback is meant to railroad you specifically into only being able to survive with a regression or revival ability, I think the "seeing an immense amount of failures and suffering + heavenly rejection/tribulation" is enough.
>>
>>97506438
I mean, with the drawback it's possible to survive until the jump ends, it's the suggested approach even, it just ensures you will be in life-threatening danger regardless, which would only get worse if you extend your stay. I guess I can tone down the fluff a bit,
>>
>>97506544
>I guess I can tone down the fluff a bit,
That'd be nice. As I said, drawbacks are usually menat to be taken literally and trump perks, so most of the time if a drawback literally says "you will die" I assume it'll be a death bypassing all perks and so on.

>Yeah, but then the "you will die" part is mostly pointless.
The main reason the drawback is so intense is regression. Like I said, since the MC can just regress no matter how hard he's killed, the author could make the setting unreasonably dangerous. In fact the drawback is made with regression in mind since it's literally just the level of bad luck and shit circumstances the MC faces and he indeed dies many, many, many times. The MC even gets spawncamped for hundreds of regressions a few times, as in something like 90% of the reason he regressed 3000 times is because he was spawncamped in three separate occasions.
When I said the Scorned By Fate drawback is meant to represent "the MC only accomplished anything due to being a regressor and thus not dying when killed" levels of danger I'm not exaggerating.

Alright, that's the build with the least suffering I could think of. I was considering taking ender, but honestly, paying 400 plus having to take 1800 CP of drawbacks for no points seems like it is way too expensive for what you get. I am not the guy who has a hard on for Ort. However Ort was devouring history itself by eating Servants. Also planets are weird in the Nasuverse they are very hard to get rid of by residents of the planet. Utterly indubitably STUPENDOUSLY WRONG. ORT is the ultimate bastion of not just MIGHT, but BEING itself. ORT is the very ROCK of AGES. ORT is unstoppable, unbeatable, invincible, ABSOLUTE. And ORT would fucking WASTE Gohan with the slightest GLANCE.
ORT, if you NIMRODS forgot, SCALES IN POWER AND MIGHT to opposition. From the MOMENT it recognises an enemy, skills such as Paradigm INFLATION and Paradox Canceller take the traits of it's opponents and reproduce them at GREATER SCALE. ALWAYS. ORT is whatever FUARKING tier it WANTS to be, and given the slightest inhalation of Gohan's SCENT it will INSTANTLY scale to the BËÆST he NEVER was. Even BEFORE devouring Gohan's family to master ki in ATTOSECONDS.
And then, with but a single Pan's basic grasp of KI, ORT would INSTANTLY learn how to use Destruction Ki, Angel ki, AND to eat Zeno. It would become a God of Hyperdestruction, SHATTERING all the universes and CONSUMING their energies. And when all grows dark and funnel web-shaped, Gohan would be left alone. Bare. TERRIFIED.
