It has been weird watching the blanchitsu28 scene go from artgrog niche passion projects to instagram bait hipster hobby to Corporate Consumer Identity Model in such a short time frame.
Even the grimclusivity is being toned down.

companians released people would spend money on "grimdark" stuff and leap into that niche very quickly.
I guess it is an example of a subculture being corporatised, like Punk and Goth were in the past.

>a shit game made by shitty people sells out at the first opportunity
If anyone is actually surprised by this they need to get their head checked.

All they had to do was side with ArchWarhammer and most of these sins would have been forgiven. They chose poorly.

All companies providing good media eventually go sour.
I didn’t expect it to happen so fast with Trench Crusade. I feel bad for anybody who is poisoned by sunk cost fallacy who stays with trench at this point.
I had it with 40k took too long to pull out. I expect it will be the same with the trench crusade following.

Has a term for this kind of thing been coined yet?
Corporates got into just about every culture that it is impossible to be a punk in the modern world.
Maybe those North Sentinel Islanders are the last true punks in this world in resisting the mainstream and not conforming to it in any way.
