Yes, yes I'll back that up. They did. A lot of those old articles did, jokey or otherwise. A bit heavy-handed from a Brit perspective, but it was in good fun. There's another thread on here about "what is soul", and I think that's as good a definition as any. Put the effort in, and don't be ashamed of doing so.
