Thoughts on weathering? Anyone ever done it before? I was thinking on just rubbing pencil lead all over a model.

Pencil lead works pretty well as a highlight on metal, but it only works if you're just planning on displaying; the second you hit it with a clear coat it loses its luster and just looks like a gray streak.
