Every common and uncommon feeds into the payoff mechanics, and you don't so much draft it as hope you didn't choose the same school as two other people in your pod. They brought back converge but are terrified of putting it on an X spell where it might be useful. Cancel got powercrept by Mana Drain but god forbid putrefy with lifegain can be an instant.

Japan town lands are good, but I like the Japanese field lands a bit more because of the mountains and swamps.
Phyrexian lands are also commonly used sets.
The Theros constellation lands are pretty nice.
And then maybe the Unfinity planet lands if you like the sci-fi theme.

Can't really help you there beyond generic advice of trying to get 4x for your most important cards instead of having random 1-2 copies of things. Reanimator is a hard archetype to get going because it's very vulnerable to hate pieces and has a bunch of moving parts. But, if you're having fun that's the important thing.

I had a perfect anti-mice deck when Monstrous Rage and Heartfire were the rage. Everyone was playing mono red at that time. I played a lot of mono red against my other decks. Really did not think this deck had it in it to trophy but trophy it did. God I really like playing cube. Obvious good cards are frog and bowmasters (with time spiral and twister) You can dump your hand on frog or just deal 7 with bowmasters making an 8/8 is pretty good. LSV sez he doesn't like dauthi voidwalker but its awesome when you can steal the opponents best card with thoughtseize. Im really bullish on subtlety desu. Seeing a lot more fair decks but my rank is withered and im in plat whatever so i dont know.

It does even out over many games. Your opponents also get bad draws. That's one nice thing about ranked constructed, since all the games are individual a few games of bad luck in a row is fine. If you play well consistently it will even out.

Since mega cannot do math and the trans is having another episode and spam bumping, I'll take my time and explain how my humble 7-0 7-1 2-2 2-2 1-2 qualifier run completely dismantled the draftrans narrative

As previously stated, each play-in ended up worth 160 gems, there were 100 in total and I made 16k. So each constructed run net me 375 + 160 gems + 3 packs for 2500 gold and I had 100 of them therefore 250000 gold spent and 535*4 gems per 10000 aka 2140 gems per 10000 gold aka 1 draft

I refuse to explain further how that is much better than you get draftranning and how ridiculous of a winrate you would have to have in draft to even come close to matching my constructed numbers

Gotta say that pack three tinker really did save me and workshop+tomb is crazy i managed to pull a fast nexus to phyrexia on one of those pesky aggroboys. clamp was very good at killing me to bowmasters and sheoldred many times so i dont know. jadar i think is borderline playable with it which is funny. fucking jadar im talking about. The idea is nice, problem is that lore sets are often worse than universes beyond. Aetherdrift is just horrible, one of the worst sets released, ever. To even call it in universe is an atrocity, since it's tied to Wacky Wheels franchise. While Edge of Eternities is basically star wars.

Most of the decks play by themselves. Vast majority of top decks, even. Starter Deck Duel, for example, demand vastly more skill than practically all top decks right now on standard ladder. Chess or even Bridge are much higher iq games. I can play mtg while tired or in low mental prep just fine, at the same time I'll be loosing a ton of rating playing chess. It's not a dumb game, though, there is a level of skill involved. You need to predict, and even remember certain things, more so in draft than in constructed environment. But constructed demands more in terms of deck building, though that also depends on the approach. People just copying decks are doing nothing for themselves. By far the most iq comes from constructing decks. That part isn't easy, at the same time, it's not giving as much reward as it's maybe warranted, with somewhat rigged draws, matchup and what not.

Thoughts on using my jeskai blink deck in alchemy? I noticed my deck already kinda transitions into it fairly well, I just lose my no more lies. I wanna toss in like 3-4 of this stupid thing, Xho Cai. Though I have no real idea how the meta in alchemy is. Also any other thoughts on making my deck better? Even outside alhmy. I've come back with another Boros trophy (I know, I know but I do not seem to have the cognative ability to play anything else that isn't Boros). This deck won by high-rolling, I am not even going to kid with y'all sisters. The deck was not good but it pulled through in the end. Bomat Courier and Nova Hellkite are underrated Boros cards in my opinion, they are ok to good in most matchups but when they are able to get their value, oh my oh my.

I would not play Lutri in a Boros deck in most any situation but it was given to me p3p10. Also, I seem to have accidentally played 41 cards but such is life. I am exicited to see what you good people of the Arena General have trophied with.
