Nice x-men vs brotherhood display. Ive just ordered some more risers to help me reorganize my bottom shelves.
>>
>>11676061
Always nice to see your displays.
Which risers do you use? I’m actually in the market for getting some soon since I plan to upgrade some displays. Also for your stands, are you just using the SHF ones?
>>
>>11676061
Also finally got a rug for my floor. Now need to pack up and sell some more figures.
>>
>>11676063
Thanks. I dont have a specific brand of riser. Im in UK so just grab a pack every now and then off Amazon when I run out. I don't know where they all go. I think because I started double stacking them for some of the back displays. Just order pic rel.
>>
>>11676063
Also i started get these cylindrical jewelry storge units for WCF figures, but they've turned out really useful and adjustable height stacked because they dont take up much room. I even use them to lift risers higher.
>>
>>11676063
And yeah. All the stands are shf ones. Have accumulated hundreds over the years.
>>
>>11676040
Nothing's changed on my display since the last thread except more dust. I really need to get on that and dust my shit.
>>
>>11676076
Do you not have your figures behind glass?
>>
>>11676076
If you haven't got one already I highly recommend getting something like this for dusting.
>>
>>11676079
Some are behind glass, some aren't. Doesn't matter if they are or not though. The shelves get dusty regardless.
>>
>>11676081
I used compressed air for dusting figures themselves and then just a rag and some pledge/windex for the shelves themselves.
>>
>>11676064
That rug really ties the room together.
>>
>>11676083
Yeah. Thats what i mean. I used to use compressed air, but this rechargeable motorised duster has been a god send. Has different power settings and a brush end to help clean in the gaps.
>>11676084
Yeah. Im pleased with it. May get some others so I can switch it up every once in a while.
>>
Currently "working" on a shark compartment, I got everything I need but I'm just too tired after work to start.
>>11676061
Did you ever considered putting some wallpapers behind your figures?
>>
>>11676096
I used the compressed stuff for my PC too. I'm too paranoid about shorting something to use an electric blower for that, so I may as well just stick with the air for when I clean my figs.
>>
>>11676111
You really should be fine though

Nice photo, what kind of cabinet do you have?

BROTTAR display from amazon
>>
I made it my New Years resolution to keep my shelves dust free this year. It's so much but I'm gonna do it. Three or four shelves a day isn't that bad. Taking everything down and putting it back up again is such a bitch though. I did it last year for moving and it was such a nightmare and I had a bunch of other traumatizing stuff happening around that same time (my senior dog passing away, needing major surgery, other health stuff with family members) that it kind of fucked me up a little bit.
>>
>>11676636
The Brotarr cabinets are great honestly
>>
>>11676801
Are they glass enclosed shelves or are you figures out in the open?
>>
>>11676801
You can do it, anon. Sorry about your old friend and misfortunes, but it’s the small stuff that can really help keep you afloat. And it’ll be nice for you too, to see your figures nice and clean.
>>
>>11676994
Some are out in the open, some are in detolfs. Doesn't matter though, the shelves still get dusty regardless. The detolfs just don't get as dusty as quickly.

>>11676996
Thanks bro. 2025 was a real kick in the dick for me. I still haven't gotten over my dog, and it's been like a year now. Feelsbadman.jpg. I'm just still trucking along though.
>>
>>11676926
They're cheap as shit but they look better than the stuff I see for over a grand.
>>
>>11676801
It's a dirty job, but sometimes you gotta do it.
>>
What's the best bang for your buck stands in can get? I like Tamashii Stage Act 4's, but I need several dozen and the cost is going to add up fast. Are the knock off versions of the act 4 stands on Aliexpress decent enough, or is there another budget friend stand I can get?
>>
>>11676613
Wow, can you show that Prototype custom upclose?
And yeah, nice display.
>>
>>11676613
Ah you are one of the customiser anons, I really dig your classic Contra customs, they look awesome.
>>
>>11676040
Nobody ever has their Sam Raimi Spider-Man in front of the USA flag. Sad.
>>
>>11678910
>>11679032
Thanks fellas
The Prototype figure is just a modded pre existing figure without leg articulation. So I just added Marvel Legends legs and painted the unpainted blade. Pretty simple if you wanna do it yourself.

>Did you ever considered putting some wallpapers behind your figures?
Sorry. Missed this reply. For the longest I wasn't going to because the glass is height adjustable and I was changing it up a lot at first, but now its kinda settled and I've finally decided to get shelf lights I may now consider backgrounds.

I'd say it's more of a tiny landscape. The cat is of average size.

Bought a house a couple of years ago that was large enough that I could have an office.

Reminds me of when I went to Japan after graduating highschool and came back with gundam kits and random gacha, started my obsession with toys.

The crabs are cool af.

Guys, I'm doing real good. I've so far dusted the majority of my main display unit. I just have a couple more shelves on there. I also did both my detolfs. I just have to do my bookshelf and my built in cabinets, which are both not that bad, I actually shouldn't have to do the cabinets yet, they're fine. The main display and the bookshelf are what really need the attention.
>>
Probably gonna move around/rotate a bunch of stuff this weekend

Alright, my main display, my detolfs, and most of my bookshelf is all dusted. I feel a lot better about all that now, holy shit. Wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. I'll posts some pics later today.
