I've never had any harry potter sets but I went on bricklink to see what figs were the rarest.

>tfw no fig above 30 dollars
how? Are starwarsfags like me really the only ones retarded enough to have to pay insane amounts for glup shitto (2013) (brown stripe on right leg) (not applicable)?
>>

>tfw no fig above 30 dollars
>how?
HP is just that based.

From time to time hp has a rare minifigure but then Lego releases it again in a smaller set.
For example this Hagrid bigfig.
If it was starwars, Lego would whore this hagrid making it super exclusive. But it's currently a 15 euros set.

I think this is the SMALLEST/cheapest set that had a "bigfig" in history.
Same with other characters like Dobbie/Voldemort that lego can just put randomly in a polybag or a kids book.

>Are starwarsfags like me
>the only ones retarded enough
>insane amounts
LEGO has also retired a lot of non Batwank sets. So people do charge and I guess some idiots do pay an insane amount for them.
I've been able to get almost all of the Superman and a few others (Flash, etc.) that I wanted without breaking a bank, although they've almost all been used. I've also had to sweet talk some sellers into doing combined shipping.

I do think if I had tried to find them all on BrickLink, I would have spent more time and energy AND paid more money.

I've been getting into harry potter lately having shown little interest for it as a kid. Was it really as comfy as it seems back in the day? Both lego and movie/merch?
>>
>>11678378
I will never understand afols who collecting superslop legos.

>Was it really as comfy as it seems back in the day? Both lego and movie/merch?
yep
Lego Harry potter is super comfy.
+ if you live in europe. We keep having "harry potter books" with minifigures in them. They usually go for $5-6 and contain suprisingly A LOT of cool stuff.

Like you would thing Bellatrix Lestrange would be a rare exclusive character because she's super popular.
Nope - she's in this 5eur - book.
Also books are full of comfy stuff for kids. i would love these as a kid.
>>
>>11678399
+ another example of how "rich" hp-lego merch is.

This book not only contains a popular villain figure but the figure has a very detailed printed torso and printed legs!

I'm a fellow 'pean. We starwarsfags also get magazines. But I was asking about being a kid in peak Harry Potter time. Be it having the books released when you were the targeted audience or having the movies come out when you were a teen. What was it like? I was sucking Lucas's cock so hard that I missed Harry Potter almost completely.
>>
>>11678417
Lots of nerdy girls liked harry Potter. So if you were any kind of straight male it wasn't super awesome.

But once you have kids and a wife it's nice to show them the series. Good story, not the greatest

Best part was that guy who read the ending of the last book early and got a megaphone and told people (waiting in line) what happened
>>
>>11678448
I miss being a kid. Hard to come to terms with the fact that I'll never experience childhood wonder again. Won't even have kids to see them experience theirs......
>>
>>11678450
Kids are the best, why aren't you having any?
>>
>>11678457
I'm too retarded, germbro. I've been really antisocial for a number of years now.
>>
>>11678480
Lame ass excuse. Just show some nerdy chick your toy collection and be as strong as you can.
It works
>>
>>11678480
>I'm too retarded, germbro. I've been really antisocial for a number of years now.
it's not me lol (i didn't respond to your message yet >>11678417 , you talking to another anon)
>>
>>11678507
Well.... my statement stands. Got a cure or solution? No, didn't think so. Then continue to post comfy harry potter oc, please.
>>
>>11678502
I hate women and getting one for the sake of getting one feels wrong. Might get one to give me a few mini-mes later. But desu I don't think I even could get one now. I've been out of the loop since forever.
>>
>>11678521
>Might get one to give me a few mini-mes later.
based
i also thought of getting a woman to make a couple of mini-mes eventually!
>>
>>11678524
I imagine the only way that'll happen for me is if I get rich enough. Find me a golddigger that'll bear aryan children and then have her be their mother and have as little to do with her as possible.
>>
>>11678527
holy crap beyond based
Can't wait to start dropping aryan babies left and right.
>>
>>11678531
Are you mocking my plans?
>>
>>11678541
No anon. please make aryan babies. I'm serious.
>>
>>11678556
You sound like a woman.
>>
>>11678562
anon i'm just joking. it was fun to goof around with making babies/aryan/etc. stuff.
I enjoyed your company in this thread. I felt like i was minding my own buiseness and then some guy arrived and we talked about stuff we both interested and then laughed.
>>
>>11678565
Well that's what the chan is for I guess. I'm still dawn to talk potter and nostalgia.

>Remus Lupin
Ngl, my fav character. Rivaled only by Sirius himself. Did you watch all the movies in the cinema? I think I only caught a single Fantastic beasts.
>>
>>11678521
Pretend you like boys and adopt. You can skip the baby stage. Get an orphan a year or two before pre-school to imprint and socialize in your environment.

If you really want a mini-me, that's doable, too.
>>
>>11678682
>pretend you like boys
What? Are you telling me that a fag who is single can adopt a kid but a hetero man who is single can‘t?
>>
>>11678391
But I am not an adult LEGOs fan; I like the creativity and imagination spark it hopefully gives to kids. But I am buying these as an adult collector of DC comics and DC generally.

I mean, I'm sure you're just some shit-stirring anon who probably doesn't even collect or own any toys.

So here's your (you) and a little bit of attention so you can feel good about yourself for a change on a /toy/ board and more specifically, a Harry Potter thread.

You can go to Russia and get paid surrogacy. Your moralfag 'liberal' country may not allow it though.
>>
>>11679369
Interdasting.
>>

>fag who is single can adopt a kid but a hetero man who is single
Calm down, incel lanky.
No one is saying "single"
No where did I write "single"
You pay some other incel since you clearly don't have friends to come to the clinic and pretend to be your male wife who will raise the baby with you
You'll need to pretend to at least have regular visits so he'll need to leave his toothbrush and some underwear and shit over at your place.

A single hetero man who wants a child is just a pedo. EVERYBODY knows that, silly.
>>
>>11678389
Extremely comfy until book/movie 3-4 and onwards where it became bloated and kind of cringe in the YA/teen romance drama kind of way. I just have nostalgia for the early movies nowadays, tried to reread the books and they’re definitely for little kids.
>>
>>11678389
>>11679630
I am glad I read the books once but haven't had any interest in re-reading them. I don't think anyone who's never read them before needs to read them now. It's a shame they will never get a good graphic novel adaptation since apparently the kids book author thinks graphic novels are silly and infantile.

I went and saw the first movie at Regal in 3D and 4DX two summers ago, when they did the re-release of the first two, with a crowd of people and that was fun to watch a bit buzzed and stoned. But that was also like $7 a seat in summer when it was 90 degrees out and it was a fun afternoon to be chilling.

They did a re-release of all the movies around Thanksgiving/Christmas, and did put them in some 4DX theaters, but not the ones near us plus they were more expensive per seat so no one was interested in going last month.

>lego
>/merch
I think if you can find affordable LEGO, sure. I still wear a tee shirt that was free and people still compliment me on it, but I think it's due to it being a fantasy design, not HP. I haven't seen any toys other than LEGO than scream at me "buy me" but I'm also not really looking in those aisles. Toys R Us seems to be the only one that regularly carries HP toys and figures.
>>
>>11678399
We get these here too. Also Jurassic park ones and city.
>>
>>11679974
>stoner-minded reply
I don't see how this answers anything but it's cool that they rereleased the movies.
>>
>>11679630
I don't mind the 2000s teen romance stuff now. It's peak nostalgia. I for one really enjoy Twilight in this day and age.
>>
>>11679975
They are not readily available. School libraries get the books not the toys. Stores like Target that should sell those, don't.
>>
>>11678369
That one looks kinda boring which is why I walk by it all the time
Although I bet if I had more HP sets it would be fun to ADD this one
>>
>>11681719
>That one looks kinda boring
>2 death eaters
>1 bigfig hagrid in a cheap set
>iconic "hagrid on moto" set
>..

the problem is that you might be just a faggot, anon
>>
>>11681731
Take away the plant and lamp and it's just three things. Even if one of them is two parts of a neat thing (and that depends on your POV):

>1 bigfig hagrid in a cheap set
>iconic "hagrid on moto" set

It IS and DOES look limited and not that interesting.

The problem is that you are shill willing to defend anything for a corporation that wouldn't have their security guards piss on you if you were burning outside the grounds of their manufacturing plant.

The creator of Harry Potter is transphobic. Any lego affiliated with her brand should be boycotted. Famous Lego-youtubers like Just2good and JANGBRICKS have already been doing this and they have our gratitude.
>>
>>11685441
are you shitposting or jangbricks believes the tranny propaganda ?
please god

The books are comfy start to finish. The first two movies are genuinely incredible. The rest are a huge mixed bag. I don’t love them.
>>
>>11685475
i don' think you have to believe it to want to be a kind person and act accordingly
>>
>>11678312
I recently looked up the prices of some of my minifigs and found I have a few expensive ones. Trouble is they all have developed cracks in the usual places so I doubt they are valuable anymore. Oh well. I bought them to play with anyway.

Yet
I am hoping though
