Why are all Creator sets now either "thing but lego" or brick built animals? Like sure we get some classic theme throwback once a year but that's it.

Ignorant that a shocking number of the stuff you can build falls might be described as a “thing,” more than a fifth of the sets in that image are neither brick built animals nor “thing but Lego.”

There’s a literal haunted house in OP’s image. Plus the unicorn palace thing, the recent castle, the “modern house,” and so on

Probably the most offensive thing about the modern 3-in-1 sets is how they're meant for kids but the builds look virtually impossible to take apart and reassemble. Good luck getting all those tiles apart, even with a brick separator.

cool thanks for bringing up the exception like it's some profound statement, if you want me to explain shit like you're five none of those that you listed are normal lego houses except the modern house that came out in who would've guessed 2024

From 2011 onward Creator had minifig compatiible sets that integrated well into your city. In recent years they got rid of that and it's now manly animals and random objects i.e display sets.

Nigga, if you’re counting a haunted house or magical unicorn skypalace as “thing but Lego”, then anything you could plausibly put in one of these sets is “thing but Lego.”
What do you want them to make? Dignity but Lego? A lack but lego? The platonic ideal of a chair but Lego?
Is there any concrete object you can make out of Lego that doesn’t fit under the category of “thing”?
