I've been in a bit of a Lego dark age for a while because original themes have become rarer and rarer these days. But yesterday I bought this bad boy and built it. Haven't had this much fun with a toy in years, especially Lego.

Dreamzzz is such a kino theme. Now I wanna gow out an buy the rest of the wave.

Truly a kino set indeed

Dreamzzz gets a lot of shit but it's easily my favorite modern theme.

I'm beyond certain it will end up being a "classic" theme in 10 or so years, like Power Miners or Atlantis are currently.

dreamz is great, it's possible to have wonderful time with lego if you don't get caught up in all the licensed shit

I like the color palette of this theme. Kind of like a Ninjago meets Friends.

The only thing that interested me about this was the possibility of customizing Mechs using these. I decided - now that I am actually spending money on LEGO - to just do Mech's - with a VERY few exceptions for my core collectible franchise (which yes, is one of LEGO's 'licensed' shit but not a huge one like Potter, Marble or Star Wars). And everything I've bought so far for that has been used.

It looks interesting and yeah, the colors are different. But I don't get the differences. Why are all those dinos and insects a different line (creator?) - I mean, I think insect and dino mechs (and the like) in these colors would be cool.

This is probably why - unless you are there shopping with a kid who just looks at OP's box and goes "GIMME GIMME" - most adults just go to the LEGO section and gravitate to SW or Potter. It's simple.

This is the best current line, but I wish i didnt have to build the head in favor of pre-made ones like we got for Dino 2010, Power Miners and Ninjago

Dreamzzz has a ton of cool parts and some of the best villains in any Lego OC theme. I hope those cat creature gem things end up on PAB, I would pay $7 CAD each for those. Not so much collect the entire wave.
