So LEGO allegedly have vowed to never do military subjects so it doesn't "promote war" to kids but then go and do a literal F-14 set?
Hypocrisy much?

Also an F-35. I believe there are an F-16EX and a Su-47 in the same theme as well. And I don't mean inspired by, these are pretty much 1:1

Also this. A LITERAL war plane
>but it's old so it's historical
The F-14 is also from the 60s and has been retired for ages. Isn't it also historical? Why don't we have a Vietnam War theme then? Lego is clearly fine with it if they're doing sets like these.

These are clearly unarmed demonstrator craft designed for airshows and not in violation of the Lego City demilitarization treaty.

The existence of the Lego Coast Guard implies that there's definitely narco terrorists that need to be blown out of the water

It may be because Creator puts more focus on the building angle and less on the roleplaying/bombing stuff. It doesn't even include minifigs to pilot the plane.
The same could be said about the V-22, but it was more detailed and realistic. It was also branded and could be considered promotion of a militar hardware company.
The Indiana Jones plane is a recreation of a specific scene with named characters and shit.
There are many factors that relate to whether the set encourages violent play or not, or promotion of violence, and the whole thing can't be 100% objective.

Because Karens complained that the V-22 was never used in a civilian role like that.
The not-F-35B "air show jet" was fine because they didn't call it an F-35.

Erm, actually, I have to fact check you there anon. The box CLEARLY states that this is in fact a "blue power jet" and not actually a military vehicle of any kind so you're obviously wrong.
