Well here's a /toy/ and /v/ crossover nobody saw coming.
What next, Hasbro hiring Hideo Kojima to oversee the next GI Joe reboot?

This isn't going to help them. If anything it'll only accelerate the company's crash by bringing in two people who'll double down on the DEI and deliberate ugliness.
>Hideo Kojima
Hasbro should have done a MGC/Splinter Cell/Syphon Filter para-military game that's driven by character and story development in the late 90s when it was cheaper and faster to do so. Now it'll cost them up to a decade to make one, and half of that will be faggots in motion-tracking suits LARPing in warehouses.

Nintendo's crashing because of the expensive launch of Switch2. But they'll survive. Owning the most valuable IP on the planet (Pokemon) will keep the company going with no problem.

He's a "THEM." It's not hard to see what he will do at Hasbro: start off on the board, support bad ideas that'll hurt the company, and weasel and manipulate his way to CEO once the current one gets tossed for said bad ideas.

>“Doug and Carla bring deep expertise in building iconic brands, creating meaningful consumer experiences, and driving innovation and transformation across their respective industries,” said Hasbro CEO Chris Cocks
So in other words he loved seeing how Nintendo started gouging people with shit like $30 background music and wants to figure what else he can cut from toys to increase their revenue.

Why is it any time americans talk about a brand its about how much engagement and portfolio expansion they can bring to the table and not what they actually make? just vague bullshit every fucking time at least lego can talk about what brands theyre excited for like those horizon dawn sets no one cares about

Last year the guy basically showed up for the first time publicly since he took office in 2019 and unleashed his Don Mattrick moment in the big Switch 2 press coverage event, dropping several egregious anti-costumer bombshell statements like how there's going to be a "variable pricing" model for Nintendo games which he made it sound like they will be arbitrarily charging $10 more for certain games because they think it's warranted, and he even repeated Mattrick's same exact talking point about how "if you can't afford the new generation console feel free to buy the old one instead". People memed him to hell on socials and gave him a lot of shit, Nintendo took note of it and a few months later he posted that he's suddenly "leaving" the company, which means he got axed. It's extremely unlikely for a company president to step down voluntarily right after a major launch of a new product like this.

I got banned for posting this on the fancy website lol. The funny thing is that everyone agreed with me on his business practices but it's somehow a problem the second I bring up ethnicity.

The previous CEO of Hasbro, Alan Hassenfeld, was jewish too and he was a grandson of the founder. Is the current CEO Chris Cock jewish also, I can't dig up much about him other than he was leading the MTG division before taking office. The toy industry in particular is a jew magnet it seems.

I mean, the Hassenfield brothers were Jewish, so it certainly runs deep

Wiki is removing "early life sections" from people now. Can't have people being too knowledgable.
And he's absolutely gong to hurt Hasbro in his efforts to get the CEO tossed so he can take over.
