Can anyone ID this Grognak figure? We think it may be CG, but even so, is the body/face based on an existing sculpt? Thanks in advance.

Looks like a custom to me, probably using this savage He-Man fig.

Thanks. It's from the outro of the Fallout Season 2 show. It caught my eye, but I couldn't find the reference. Looks like a Marvel Legend.

It's definitely not Savage He-Man, doesn't look like a Marvel Legends either. I doubt it's even a real item, could be full CG magic as I don't recognize any potential parts from other figures.

Its a Diaclone figure, but its from the reboot which is pretty obvious when you compare them to the originals. >>11683611
I promise you, i hate this figure. I just fucking hate it. I bought it full price at release because i thought having a masterverse orko was a nice incentive on a decent figure. But i hated the figure as soon as i got home and stared at it. I never shouldve opened it, burt i did and the wave of disappointment in my decision rolled over me before i cut the 32 ties Mattel uses on their figures. Honestly, i hate it. But its great for some customs i guess. I used mine for a custom masterverse grizzlor.

It's 100% a lesser-popularity comic book character named Ka-Zar, which was basically halfway in between Conan and He-Man.

They are. I think he accidentally replied in the wrong topic.

>>11683604
It's Ka-Zar that's possibly altered by a Fallout 4 fan wanting a plastic version of Grognak.

I'm guessing it's CG/AI. The head is close to >>11683611 but the hair doesn't quite match up, and none of the parts match it or Marvel Legends Ka-zar. The boots almost look like they are from Mythic Legions, but the legs and arms don't match the sculpt of those.
The thing that is making me think it's AI is the weird artifacting on his abs that doesn't seem to match the rest of the sculpt and the sideways pointing nipple. That area I've circled looks like a mess that Grok couldn't figure out how to process properly.

It's AI.
the pages of the comic book are WAY too thick
>>

Could still be AI, but the skill magazines essentially looked like that in game.

Reboot, it's from the Diaclone reboot ya dingus. Not the original figures, did you even compare the two? No, you did not. You dweeb.

That's what I was thinking, most of it looks too fake an inconsistent to be an actual figure while the lines are too clean and parts unrecognizable to be some sort of custom. None of it's pieces are from Savage He-Man, Ka-Zar or any of the numerous recent Conan figures released over the past few years. It has a weird mix of modern but also outdated articulation, with pinned upper knee joints but pinless lower knees. But then it has single hinge swivel elbows with a *really* deep hinge in the forearm. And the abs and torso in general is just a muddled mess.

It's certainly not a real figure, but I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt in saying it was "CG", but an AI image is by far the most likely answer.

>Diaclone reboot
The Diaclone line is all modular mecha figures and there are no 1:12 barbarian figures in the line. What kind of bad trolling is this?

It's recent board lore.
Last year or the year before, someone started a toy ID thread asking about a pic that had a bunch of Diaclone reboot toys. He acted like a sperg when people told him it was from Diaclone reboot, and it turned out that the main toy he wanted to know about was a garage kit based on Diaclone reboot, so anons weren't far off with their guess.
Now whenever someone asks for a toy ID, we get some clowns saying it's from Diaclone reboot. Sometimes it's warranted, like when it's obviously a reseller trying to get us to work for free, but some retards don't know when a joke works or when they are flogging it into the ground.

It isn't recent at all, it's because 90% of the "What toyline is this?" threads since /toy/ was created always wound up being Diaclone or Multimac, so anons jokingly say it's the answer because it consistently was for a long period of time.
>>
>>11684831
Well that makes sense, thanks for the history lesson on this one.

>>11684836
It can't be that old, I been active on this board since it practically started and this is the first time I'm ever hearing this joke, and I make a note to check out any Toy ID threads posted just because I like to test my knowledge of things.
