Yeah. Mostly imports but I think Jakks Pacific has a decent line at $10 a pop. They've done two Samus, a standard and a Dark version. They done Altered Beast, Streets of Rage, Shinobi and Golden Axel in addition to their Mario and Sonic figures.

The reissues of all 3 of the older Samus Figmas are either out now of coming in the next month or so. Other M is out now, and Prime 3 and Zero Suit should be next month unless they get delayed.

Too lanky, lost her curves and femininity, pauldrons are too big, and both the greeble over her suit and the sharper shapes make the design appear more dated. The highlights didn't age great either.

Even without all the scale issue, I feel like this design is one of Samus' worst armor. The purple just doesn't work with the red/orange/tan of the suit. Also, Beyond is fucking awful and is the only Metroid game I regret playing, and I played Other M day 1.

I wasn't aware of the issues with development past the studio change back to Retro Studios, and knowing that people that previously worked at 343 touched this game makes a lot of sense when you see the game we got. It's funny too, because I remember saying to a friend when I was in the Volt Forge that the game felt like a horde mode in a generic shooter at times, before I was aware about the 343 thing.

At least I'm glad that an actually good Metroid game, Dread, got figures.

I think objectively super may be the best metroid game, but dread is my favorite, I just really like the movement, I have to admit it's pretty linear for a metroid game tho.

I hope we get more dread figmas but I think it's probably too late by now, that said I wasn't expecting us to get the E.M.M.I. so who knows.

I disagree. Beyond is such a linear game that there are only two very boring side content (the optional tanks/missiles/etc and the green energy) and both are rewards for tedious tasks instead of having the exploration and puzzles be fun like in previous titles, or Wind Waker for example. I don't hate Miles for example, but I do hate his purpose in the game, which is funneling you to the right path when the game deems it necessary and not anytime else. Both Sunshine and Wind Waker feel infinitely more polished than this turd, IMO.

Also fuck Sylux and fuck Sakamoto's hard on for this nothing character (though I hope you get your figure since you enjoy the design).

I think it was Tanabe who was really into Sylux. Sakamoto has very little to do with the Prime series, in fact they pivoted from Chozo after Prime 1 because they didn’t want to step on his toes/lore.

The Metroid is getting a reissue in Japan, so I might order one from Play Asia right now. I was hoping there would be other reissues too. I manage to get every Samus except for bike Samus, cause I don't want to pay 40 bux for an amiibo. Saw a few today, so hoping Best Buy will eventually do another discount. I just need that one, Sylux, the Metroid, and Ridley. Ridley is 64 bux on Play Asia, I'm gonna have to hold out on that price. The metallic colors of Samus's power suit look so good

I actually prefer it to the old one. No typing required, just a few clicks and cursor drags, much faster and easier IMO. Also, for me it's only two stages for some reason, when the new captcha was originally introduced for the first few days it was three stages but then it always started giving me 2-stage ones only, and the task is always the same (pick one image that's not like the others).

Same here. 2 stages for me. I was reading heaps of complaints on various boards about the "find 2 stars with 5/6 spikes" stage and that's the one that no longer appears for me. I hope cleaning my cache doesn't cause that stage to come back
