Where to buy
>GSC Online Shop - some figmas only are available through their online shop
>Amiami - usual place for buying, to some people, shipping is a bit higher due to packaging
>Hobby Link Japan shipping is usual lower, but their prices are a bit higher, private warehaouse is available
>Hobby Search Japan - items stay in stock the longest
>Mandarake - search figma or フィグマ
>eBay/Amazon - only if you hate having too much money. Avoid bootlegs, you can spot them as 'Chinese version'
>http://jungle-scs.co.jp/ - Seems like you can fine some good deals here
>Check the BST threads (if they ever comeback), My Figure Collection for any offer/deal
Here's a link to the buyfag guide list of shops:

If you're getting into the hobby, there's plenty of other useful information to find on the wiki.
In case someone is interested in the printable backdrops/dioramas & other papercraft stuff that Max Factory have in the download section of their site:

Short illustrated posing guide by Max Factory
>http://ameblo.jp/figma/entry-11564427757.html (in moonrunes)
The S shape is always good advice though. The basic idea is that straight lines tend to look stiff.
Tomytec's 1 inch scale section (1/12 stuff, little armory, vehicles and others)
For 3rd party accesories/diorama pieces just look for 1/12 stuff (for other scales just ask in the thread)

I have her and Mordred and Saber 2.0. Right now she's in her box since I buy too many shit for the amount of room I have. But she's about similar. her skirt is articulated like Saber so its no an hindrance but If I remember right she have more trouble standing without a stand than saber. And she have less accessories and I thin a worse ab crunch than the 2.0 saber

We wouldn't even be having this discussion if you faggots contributed to your own thread, but because you don't, OP has decided it's not worth wasting his time baking new threads. So I doubt he wants to waste time constantly updating release schedules for a line barely anybody cares about.
You can always make your own thread.

And it's not even me asking this time. You guys made me shut up back when I brought up the idea, then >>11769796 did what I did last time, with predictable results. My idea was purportedly worse because there's no place for PLAMATEA anywhere in this board and trying to merge all three was the last resort.
So! If I were to bring up Fate again, what do you guys want to see, especially for strange Fake characters? To be completely honest with how much of a dark horse strange Fake was, the only character that could ever get a figure there is Alcides because of popularity reasons, and alternatively Richard I, who has Fate/Grand Order popularity backing him. And many characters not original to FGO got figures under that game's label.

I want Ishtar. Her design isn't super complicated either, like a mix of Iri and Rin which they've done before.
>>
>>
>>11770616
Terrible analogy because you can easily ignore 20 posts out of 450 on a mongolian throat singing forum and go about your day while tasting shit in a candy bar would be hard to ignore and would ruin your day.
>>
>>
>>11770643
Richard is without a doubt the obvious choice. Everybody likes him.
I think he is the only one from Fake that has enough fans from the show and FGO to warrant it. Because there are plenty of characters from FGO that people would want more than any other Fake character. And while Japs do suffer strongly from recency bias, I still don't think they'd go for semi popular FSF characters over some of the bigger FGO names.
Like you couldn't justify FSF Ishtar over FGO Ishtar or Eresh, same goes for Alcides over bahsahkah. Too many fans of the original compared to the new.
Enkidu makes a good chunk of sense tho, he has been popular for ages, now in 2 animes as well as the games.

>>
>>11771192
That survey to me was the sign that they should just pack it up and pull the plug on figma's life support. If it's this bad, just end the line. Nendos and pups seem to be better for them, just do those and don’t bother with bare minimum figma at maximum price. They are not making much anyway. Dungeonmeshi might be the last time a main cast is completed.
>>11771202

Man, reminds me I had so many fucking revo joints back in the day. Being able to buy figma joints in specific colours and types would be pretty good, though, I love trying to restore broken figures from Facebook/ebay/etc and that would make it much easier than dying white joints or sourcing bootleg joints in the right colour.
>>
>>
>>11771582
If you're fine with the plamo that's great, but that conversation was not about what you consider a better bang for your buck but which of the two looks better, and that's clearly the figma because it's closer to the source.
The misaligned eye tampos are bullshit thought.

As more toy collectors fall into poverty, nendroid prices rise to figma levels and figma levels rise even higher, the rubber figurine "Nendroid plus" line is now the equivalent of the space nendroids held as a budget option.
>>
File: 0.jpg (127.7 KB)
>>11772167
I remember seeing the Co-De line at Barnes and Noble years ago and really liking how they looked for being more budgety releases with no accessories. They were really charming.
How's the Plus line? Does it scale with the regular line? How's the actual quality? For them being rubber, I'd be a bit concerned they'd degrade or fall apart over time...

Ok, I messed around with it a bit more, and it's kinda fucked. Seemingly, it only goes backwards, and she locks into one bent position more or less, and only bends back forward to neutral. Feels horrible to do.
>>
Yesterday I accidently pushed my Momo's right arm *slightly* upwards but not in the direction of the elbow joint because I didn't know where the joint was facing due to her sweater.
Should I worry about it being bent? Her swivel and elbow joint still work good though and doesn't feel bent
>>
>>
>>
>>11772818
It’s definitely not cracked given it hasn’t fallen off and it still swivels. I also didn’t feel any openings when stroking it so it shouldn’t be bent either.
I’m just worried if it got bent out of shape.

Yea ive seen in twitter the Belt paint apps is messy , even the red lining paint apps.
other issues ive seen recently is the neck hole is loose , front hair part is loose , all 3 faceplates are loose (these faceplates feels hollow same with the Lycoris recoil girls)

Its using the Trapezoid shape hole , the 1.0 old ones including Okita / Both Gudas / All Saber Variants (except Lancer Artoria) using long rectangle with 2 stub bottom type hole .

This is such a massive disappointment as a big fan of LB6 and the character. Unlike Illya, she at least looked good in the promo images. Keeping my expectations low for Morgan with how many corners they're cutting lately. I suppose it's a good thing I've burnt out on FGO in the past year or I'd have been tempted to buy them all despite lackluster quality.

I still can't decide whether to get Morgan.
I don't play FGO, so I'm fully deciding on design and lore. I got every other Arthurian-linked character.
She's a limited release so full price, and GSCEU never got her. She'll be even more expensive through AmiAmi/GSC Global. Non-partner stores get no support anymore, so if her QC's bad you're fucked..
Global's fucking with only charging in USD. Did they get DDP shipping yet?

Normally, I'd agree, but when Hyper X Body's quality's so much lower than Figma or Snail Shell, a lot of us are simply passing on those figures and waiting for versions from one of the other lines.

Not sure why everyone is worried about ab crunch on Anis, she will most likely be designed like the new swimsuit Sophia Shirring. I still don't have her yet but this made me less excited for her. I don't necessarily hate ab crunch but he's right, without any rotation it kinda sucks. Just do double ball joint abdomens. And jeez those fucking HOOVES lol. I appreciated the bigger feet on 2B because it makes it easier for her to stand but I feel like they're not that noticeable on her. On A2 they are kind of jarring especially if you think how long they would look if she took off the heels.
Overall just looks really unimpressive and outdated when you look at the stuff Chinese studios have been mogging them with. But for anime designs which tend to be simplistic so they are easy to draw, maybe you can't expect too much.

He always does, he has an oafishness about him, he has that particular American neckbeard ogreness that some of you have. You know, that type of American who doesn't chew, eats like a third of whatever portion of food they're consuming with each scoop and, in the case of figures, just forces everything as soon as they meet any resistance and when it snaps, they have like a 5 second brain delay before complaining about the company. The kind of person who knocks things off shelves and never places it back in the correct place. Pay attention (if you can be bothered) to the amount of times he leaves finger nail marks and indentations in figures during his reviews, it happens frequently. One of his favourites is to basically rip off Marvel Legend arms with white knuckle force to show how easily they can tear or pop off.

>Inb4 shill, pajeet, brown, etc.
The Figma 2B's clearly better. Momo's better, too, but she's twice the price so she should be. You can also give the SHF soft goods that fit better than the Figma's and still have it cost much less. Frieren it's too soon to say until the Figma's in hand.

Got mine last week and I expected her to be way out of scale, but I'm perfectly fine with that. Proportions are accurate to the source. The problems this Figma has is the strange lack of paint on the thinner gold lines and the cape interior designs (that are actually sculpted nonetheless) and the misaligned eye tampos on the yelling faceplate (glad it happened to the one I wasn't going to use but it's still bullshit).
I don't regret getting her at all though.

The torso and waist on the original and 2.0 Artoria figmas are innacurate to the source though. Did you really never notice that the chest armor is redesigned to give them more of a wasp waist? The hip armor plates are also innacurate on both, with the side edges being slightly bent instead of flat. For some reason Max Factory likes to slightly change these two elements of vanilla Saber's design since the first release of 2008. Caster Artoria actually follows the art and her proportions look accurate.
If you think the Caster Artoria figma looks fat not only you're insane (girl is thin as hell) but you're going to have an aneurysm if you see the original design of Saber, pic related.

agreed. But to be fair, it bothered me more not because I hate the idea per se, but because there's no soft goods out there with a gold trim, so I wouldn't be able to put them on her.
Having said that, she just looks too tall and her permanently windswept look while better for articulation doesn't do it for me.

I rarely bother to measure my figures. So are the manufacturer measurements just inaccurate? The SHF was supposed to be 140mm tall, but is actually 120. The Figma was supposed to be 137mm tall, but is practically the same height as this Holo that's supposed to be 150mm. Or is it the Holo that's frauding about her height? Any pics of her next to older figmas yet?

Also they could lean into the "Smol Girl, Beeg Weapon" meme and give her colossal weapon(s), forget about her ghosts.

There is an ankle pivot. The guy who took that photo didn't bother to make use of it. There isn't a single figma in the entire line that doesn't have an ankle pivot. If you weren't new you would know that.

Things I like:
>double jointed neck so she can look all the way up
>sitting parts
>detailing is really nice and her staff is really pretty
>you can use the mimic chest as small parts storage
>you can articulate the cloak
>going to be really good for action shots
Things I don’t like so much:
>fookin MASSIVE
>the collar looks really off with how it sits due to them wanting it to articulate, should have either gone with cloth goods here or provided a non-articulating cloak part to use
Things I have no strong feelings about:
>leg articulation is fairly middling but not bad
>hair seems over engineered but works well enough
>gold trim
>cloak engineering seems a little fragile and is reminding me of Marcille’s
>faces are just okay and the blowing a kiss face position looks kind of ‘off’ because of how the cloak sits on her shoulders and moves up when her arms move
Overall I like her, I’m on the fence about keeping her though because she really is very big.

Thanks, anon! The suitcase was from a bunch of accessories I got last year from my anon secret Santa, it contains Frieren’s grimoire budget. I do have a Nendo suitcase somewhere for the doll that I think came from an Edward Elric.

I would postulate they should've made it so neither of these were a thing/requirement.
Soft goods, so she can just sit, and the capelet will just move out of the way instead of having to pose it and it then looking awkward in one angle or the other.

If you had told me "they cheaped out and made Byleth's hose just a texture of plastic instead of painting/printing", then I would have been cautiously willing to believe it COULD work, but seeing this in reality now I'm just mad.

And another Limited release...
Only standards I have are Illya and UMP. The 20 or so others are all fucking limited.

Eurobros, now that GSC won't support limited releases from the import-friendlier stores, would Ami or GSC Global be cheaper?
One has fluctuating shipping costs, while the other is flat rate but charges in USD.

Yeah, they will look better. But I frankly don't count it as a figure if they're swap out static parts.
It's like when SHF or buzzmod does those horrible preposed bent legs you have to swap out. It's a really lame crutch. Soft goods are a necessity for some figures, and those are just the facts, to be honest.
But you're right, Goodsmile probably can't do that. But I have to judge a product for what it is, and Goodsmile's inability to make a good figure well rounded figure being the impetus for calling a figure good when it's clearly got shortcomings feels counterintuitive.

I vaguely remembered that anon's posts but thought they were convoluted with going from mm to cm and ultimately seems like he measured Holo and said Frieren is about the same which is a pretty roundabout way of answering the question... But okay I guess 14cm about which is 5.5 inches. Then that doesn't seem as big to me as everyone is saying... I was expecting Snail Shell size which I think are around 16cm/6.2in
